| Posted: | | | | The info page for DVDP states it is available for the following platforms: Quote: # Supported on:
* Windows Mobile 6 Professional or Classic * Windows Mobile 5 Professional or Classic * Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE
# Support for standard (240x320), and VGA (480x640) devices is built-in, with more on the way. You can't run a program designed for one platform on an entirely different platform. That's like trying to put diesel in your unleaded car. |

| Posted: | | | | What about cooking oil in the diesel? Just got an iPhone last week, too bad they've only got some crappy dvd app from some other place Seriously though, you only have to re-invent the wheel once to make it platform independent . . . not armchair quarterbacking or anything, just like the app and wish it were married to an equally helpful OS Saw your post on another thread about that RSS correction - that still working OK for you? -Ernie |

It'll be slow, buggy, and use a lowest common denominator interface. If you want something that works like an iPhone app, it's going to need to be a native app. The best thing about the iPhone is its interface, which you'd have to give up for a platform-independent version of DVD-PM. |

| Posted: | | | | I downloaded an app from the itunes store called Imovies Collection and it downloaded all my DVD's from my DVD Profiler online to it. I can live with this as all I have to do is update from my desktop and download to my iphone using this app. The app was $A2.49.
It is no where as good as DVD Profiler, but at least I still have a nice list of my DVD's when I go shopping. |
