Menu File -> Backup Database. Choose Full Backup. Very simple... You should make frequent backup. In case of a problem, Menu File -> Restore Database | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | I just started using Vista, anyone know if the backup file from DVD profiler will be backed up when using Vista's own backup program? I have set it up so that each week it takes a full backup to an external hardrive, I was just wondering if the dvd profiler backup file would be included. |

| Posted: | | | | Since the C drive is the most prone to virus and hard drive fatigue, i.e. format/bad etc.,,, If you have the abilty to split or add additional drives to your PC try and save Profiler on another drive or even a memory stick would be even better..
CD-r's is another option too. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

It is the Best backup there is.. the 'online' backup will only restore the main DVD data itself from each contributed disc in Invelos data base- not your own personal saved 'materials' including special front and rear scans . | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. I'm not at home and don't have Profiler installed here, but isn't there a tick box for Images? I seem to recall doing a FULL backup but not including the images. I have the tick box selected to I back up images, too, so it's not a problem for me. I think the tickbox is so that backing up images is optional (to keep the backup filesize managable). | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I see that I was mistaken and that the tickbox for images works for the Custom Backup not the Full Backup. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. BUT if you just wish to 'restore' your collection as it now sits in your folder within My Documents, from a previous backup on line., Synching with online will not remove your local images, so if your database location didn't change, it would still be able to see them.
