| Posted: | | | | I'm assuming there is no way to change the online profile back to the local profile?
I redid most of a profile, added cast and crew. Changed various incorrect information and such. Then I previewed the changes to see what I needed to add in my contribution text, and.. pressed the OK button. And poof.. right back to where I started.
I'm guessing I have to start over, but there should be something that warns you or lets you turn it back to the previous local version for these kinds of... mistakes. Embarrassing.. yes. | | | Last edited: by screwed |

| Posted: | | | | 1. Not that I'm aware of. 2. You as the OP can edit the "Topic" heading 3. If you had "locked" the cast before you previewed your changes would not have been over written.
Sorry to be no other help.
But by doing number 3. on all profiles at least you can then choose whether to accept or reject any updates, because to accept it you will have to "unlock it" to recieve - else your data will remain.

| Posted: | | | | okay, I didnt think so. It was a stupid mistake on my part though. I redid the profile again so it is all good. Just makes me a little pissed at myself.
Thanks for the feedback though, I should probably use the locks more.
Oh, and regarding the locks. The SRP is always locked right? is there a way to turn that off for all profiles? |

| Posted: | | | | You'll also need to untick the "Lock RRP for newly added DVDs" in Options as well if you want it to stop locking ones you add to your database.
As to the topic, yeah I hate that OK button too! It's a Preview, OK shouldn't mean overwrite! |
