| Posted: | | | | My computer is a dual boot, with XP & Linux Mepis. I have DVD Profiler installed on both OS. I'm not able to add a headshot using copy/paste in either OS. In XP I'm able to drag & drop. But when right clicking to add a headshot by pasting, it gives the paste option but the copied photo doesn't get pasted. Unfortunately I found that the "clear" option does work, however! I'm using 3.5 Profiler, by the way. | | | Last edited: by bbmountain |

| Posted: | | | | Ah...if it were only that simple That's what I've been doing...and I've tried it many times, believe me. At least in my case, the copied image is not pasted! |

| Posted: | | | | OK, could you do a test for us and let us know exactly what happens when you try it. 1. Go to your "10 Things I Hate About You" profile and select "Heath Ledger" in the cast list. 2. On the internet, go to this address: http://www.topnews.in/light/files/Heath-Ledger-1.jpg3. Right-click on the picture and select "Copy". 4. Go back to Profiler, and click on the "Cast Information" button. 5. Right-click on the white box and select "Paste". Do any of these stages give you an error message? Or does it all seem to work but nothing changes? If you have any image editing software, what happens if you paste into there instead - do you see the image? Apologies if this seems overly simplified, I just want to try and work out which stage of the process is going wrong. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | No error messages...and nothing happens (the blank picture window stays blank.) Just saw your edit...I'll check to see if my cast list is locked...I might have done that globally a long time ago! |

That was my error, nothing to do with the program. Do you have any image editing software, or Microsoft Word? I think you can paste images into a blank document in Word too. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | I'm using Firefox for both OS on my computer. I'll try the cover copy/paste into a headshot when I get home. | | | Last edited: by bbmountain |

Quote: There is indeed a difference with the new Firefox release. As I still have XP SP2... and I had no problem with drag and drop image to cast/crew pic with firefox 2... but no longer can with Firefox 3.
You can right click an image... click Copy Image... and then right click in DVDP and click Paste. That still works... just can't drag & drop it any longer. Drag and drop directly from Firefox 3.0.4 to Profiler doesn't work here as well. But what works is this: Drag and drop from FF -> Desktop -> Profiler | | | Thorsten |
