| Posted: | | | | I think Telecine and most users don't offer users enough information, As he said, but ESSENTIALLY you are correct, you build your own. Nearly ALL pictures of people in the entertainment industry are COPYRIGHTED that is why they are NOT handled by Invelos. What does Copyrighted mean, in essence it means that us eof the images is not allowed by LAW without compensating the Copyright holder. There IS a thing called 'fair use" which allows a user to create a copy of an image for his OWN use. Once the threshhold of SHARING images is crossed, that becomes a Copyright issue and technically a violation of the law which can be prosecuted. Those making use of the Headshot database, which I do NOT, face the potential of up to $250,000 per copied and shared image and/or 5 years in jail per count.
So while the Headshot database is available, I want you to be fully aware of what is involved and WHY? The risk, to me, is not worth it, no matter how slight.

From where I sit, browsing for, choosing, and adding images is half the fun of the hobby! And don't forget if you double click the actor, then double click on the empty (or filled) photo, then your browser will open with images.google selected and with the name of the actor filling the search box. So you can immediately see some images for you to choose. | | | Paul |

I've learned that it really doesn't take much time or effort to collect images -- unless you feel compelled to get it all done in a day. But I've enjoyed searching Google images by using the method you described -- double clicking on the "Drag Image Here" square: |
