Giga, I tried removing a studio that was in 57 profiles. After deletion, the profiles did not gain a different studio, as you seem to have seen. If the studio was at the top of the list, everything just moved up a slot. I guess it could have been some index problem that a db repair before you deleted might have prevented, but that's only a wild guess.

I remember this happening to me once back with 2.4, but I fixed it the way you just posted.

I had a similar problem, also likely related to indexing, directly after upgrading to 3.50.
The first studio in my list (20th Century Fox) had been replaced throughout all profiles by the contents of the box where you fill in a new studio name. I had filled a name in there earlier, only partially, and broken off that process.

Apparently, no permanent harm was done.
