layouts not the same |

| | Posted: | | | | I am kinda new at this. I have downloaded a few layouts, but when i click on a layout view and apply it to the window, it does not look like the preview pane at all. I am trying to get the pane at the left to show the front covers instead of just a list of dvd |

At the top-right of the collection list window there are three icons. One gives you the title list, the next gives you thumbnails with details and the last is thumbnails only.
I'm at work so can't look to try and describe them, but I think they're similar to the small icons that Windows uses in explorer to change your view in the same way. |

Within the Collection List window, near the top, there are three icons which, by clicking, allow the list to be displayed as a list, with details, or as thumbnails. This is independent of the particular layout.
Select "View as Thumbnails" to display the covers.
Right-clicking on the icon allows tailoring the way the covers are are displayed. |

I also discovered that one of the options was to display the title beneath the thumbnail. I believe this is off by default and I had overlooked this previously. |
