For others, submit via "This Profile Only" Am I correct to suppose that DVD reviews links, even the US reviews, only should go in This Profile Only and not in the Title/Production Year as the main profile (Title/Production Year) links to the: Blu-ray and DVD and HD DVD at the same time. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. I have to disagree with you, even the Review aggregates should go in This Profile Only all the US (English) come in all the local profiles, French, Dutch, German, Norwegian, ... All the more reason for them to go in Title/Production Year as nine times out of ten a review is about the film in general not just one particular Localities version thereof. You yourself have no doubt titles from localities other than Belgium. So if for some weird reason you go and buy Indiana Jones 4 : R1 version (because it came out first or what ever reason) then decide later that the Euro R2 version has some extras you want that are not on the R1, the review(s) would still be linked to the same movie. It will boil down to similar situation as the Cast / Crew linking in the long run. I have already come across some of my links (to Official Websites) being erased, because they dealt with the whole TV series and not to a specific DVD title. Yet the sites in question dealt with all the episodes pertaining to the title. Steve |

I have to disagree with you, even the Review aggregates should go in This Profile Only all the US (English) come in all the local profiles, French, Dutch, German, Norwegian, ... As long as the language of the website matches the locality of the original content that's fine. Meaning, English review aggregate sites can only be included in the Title/Production Year when the movie is originally in English. While German review aggregate sites can only be included in the Title/Production Year when the movie is originally in German. Example: When adding a Rotten Tomatoes link to Lethal Weapon I can do so using Title/Production Year since both the Rotten Tomatoes website and the Lethal Weapon movie are originally in the English language. But when adding a Rotten Tomatoes link to Amelie I can only do so using This Profile Only, since the website is in English and Amelie is in French. At least that's how I interpret the guidelines that says: "For links which match the locality of the original content, submit via Title/Production Year. For others, submit via "This Profile Only"" KM | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles. You've got questions? As long as the movie is also in English, this is allowed. There's no need for this poll since Ken has already said what goes were. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | No it is not fine, a lot of German movies are dubbed in German, and even the English audio is not on the dvd. I could agree for official websites, International Fansites, General info: Rotten Tomatos, IMDB, Wikipedia (English), rating, games | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | I will say this relative to reviews. I have no problem with reviews being on multiple profiles IF and only if they pertain to that specific release OR offer comparative data between various versions. But to have a Rotten Tomatoes for a Widescreen version show up on on an SE and they have not done a review on the SE is unacceptable. IMNHO
