From the guidlines:
Quote:
Do not link to individual movie reviews, only review aggregators such as RottenTomatoes. Individual reviews of the media (DVD, Blu-ray) are OK.

So, for example, linking to Roger Ebert's review of Independence Day is bad but linking to DVD Verdict's Blu-Ray review is OK?
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Well... that is one I am glad about... since I personally am more interested in the DVD Review then I am of a review on the movie alone.

For links which match the locality of the original content, submit via Title/Production Year. For others, submit via "This Profile Only"

When it comes to things like DVD reviews, this one is self-explanatory. But does it also extend to language? Meaning, if there's a Transformer's fansite in German, it should only appear on Transformer's releases in the German locality?

I would say yes. So if Transformers had been a German film, then you would submit a german site based on title. However, because it's a US film, then you submit on profile only.

So, would this site be accepted? They do both Movie and DVD reviews in a single article.

Yes, since it is specific to the DVD.

as far as official and fan-site links in regards to concert dvds. Is it valid to put the artists official site (and fan sites for the artist) into these categories (respectively of course) or should these links not be added to a profile.

example I was adding a link to a Bon Jovi concert DVD. Is it ok to put a link to his Official site under the official site category?

I'd say that's fine too, for the official site and fan site categories only.

It would be nice if one could see the original title on the link page.

Question about attaching links to box sets. Should these be handled similar to how we profile them? for example: Links that are about the box set (so pretty much reviews) can be attached to the box set but don't attach links that relate to a specific movie in that box set (let those just be on the child profile)

I want to advice to always supply the original link and not the redirected one;

For example:

http://www.sawmovie.com/
and not
http://movies.break.com/saw

I also want to advice to leave out any unnecessary characters and to use the original characters for clarity and uniformity;

For example:

http://www.allmovie.com/cg/avg.dll?p=avg&sql=1:160502
and not
http://www.allmovie.com/cg/avg.dll?p=avg&sql=1:160502~T0

or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_(film)
and not
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphere_%28film%29

I sincerely hope everybody and Ken agrees on this.
