| Posted: | | | | Now that new profiles are not accepted automatically (good thing!), can we get the window to select what parts we want to submit?
I've just had a decline for birth years in cast/crew list, but I had not touched the cast and crew list at all, they were as they are in the US locality profile. Had I been shown a partial update window that allowed me to uncheck the parts to not submit, I would not have submitted cast and crew at all as I had to way to verify them. |

If you mean a tick box like we get for an update...I'll second it. Great idea RossRoy. |

I usually write my contribution notes based on what I see on the contribution screen. For every box that I tick, I write a comment. |

I'd like the screen for a new contribution to be exactly like it is for an update, albeit empty on the "current" side of the window. | | | Last edited: by RossRoy |

Same here, I often trap mistakes that I made when doing this and can correct them before submitting. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

| Posted: | | | | I second the idea. Writing contribution notes without a "shopping list" means opening another window to remind myself what I contributed in the first place, and especially where it came from. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | This would be a big help to me too. I would submit more new contributions if we had this feature. | | | ...James
