| Posted: | | | | so has the old InterVocative been shut down? i recently formatted my computer figuring hey ill just re download everything an low and behold no website. did a search on Wikipedia and found something about a law suit (figures).
so i thought id just update here thinking the old database was transfered over. should have known better now I've lost everything i rather upset about this but seeing as i'm just a lowly peon there is not a damn thing i can do about it.
but i would hope that the old site would still be there or at least the database so i can downlaod any chance the database is backed up somewhere? |

| Posted: | | | | There's been no official mention of the old site going down. The lawsuit has been settled, so that's not an issue anymore. How long have you been trying? It may be that the server's just having a few problems. |

Once you get onto the old site (and after you download invelos!) sure be sure to "Backup Database", which is found under "File", so that you don't lose your data. |

I would have expected that we would have heard if they were going to go down.. | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |

| Posted: | | | | I realise a few years have passed... While I can access my old InterVocative account in a browser, I get a 'HTTP/1.1 405 Method Not Allowed' error when trying to download my collection into DVD Profiler 2.4. Would it be possible to give the server a kick, or isn't this meant to be working anymore? A bit of background: To my surprise, I found out today that the old InterVocative website is still available online, and a bit of research brought me to this thread. I lost my old (local) DVD Profiler database (then InterVocative) when a hard disk crashed in 2004. When I started using DVD Profiler again in 2008 (now already Invelos), I could not access my account, assumed that the old accounts had been deprecated, and started again from scratch. If possible I would like to retrieve the old data and add it to my current database. |

| Posted: | | | | Please open a support ticket and include your old intervocative registration key. Support can generate a backup file for your collection that you can restore directly into the latest version of DVD Profiler. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |
