I'm considering moving up to a flat screen TV from my 27" SONY CRT in the near future. I'm considering a few other options but have seen the Bravia KDL-V32XBR2 LCD that appears quite good. I see that their 40" model: KDL-40XBR3 is a Bravia and is I think the next model up from their XBR2 in that size. Does anyone know if a XBR3 upgrade is in the offing for the 32" line? Size considerations are unfortunately a major issue here. A local high end dealer told me that there is an improved Bravia engine in the larger sizes that should be filtering down to the smaller sizes now. He showed the improvements particularly with regard to Response Time and Refresh on a few of these models he had on display. Also, the exisiting 32" XBR2 has at present only (1) HDMI jack which appears skimpy to me so, I was hoping there might be 2 or 3 in the next model hopefully upcoming. I've emailed SONY (a nightmare trying to find where to do so) and haven't heard back yet. Any info out there would be appreciated. |
