Problem solved. Turns out the IP addresses were off by one digit. To change the Windows computer's IP address in the iPad's DVD Profiler, I went to Databases (not Settings) | DVD profiler iPad | Change Settings; there I changed the wrong number. Then I tried to update the iPad’s database but got an error message that I needed to go to the desktop (DVD Profiler on the Windows computer, not the iPad) to Tools | Options | Sharing and click on Allow changes from remote clients. Now everything works again. |
