Database Not Downloading |

| | Posted: | | | | So my database won't download, no matter how long I let it wait. I let it sit for about 6 hours while I slept, "Downloading profiles" never even moved. I haven't gotten a new phone, phone hasn't updated, so I have no idea what's going on. Anyone else having this issue? |

| | Posted: | | | | Ok, I tried it. I haven't in a long time, so I figured I would make every mistake, and I did:
- make sure the Android device has wi-fi enabled on the same network as the PC
- Notice the sharing options at the bottom of the Profiler main screen and make sure the IP address is correctly setup on the Android, or if you want to make changes, go to the sharing settings and fix it there
In my case, my computer has somehow now given two IP options for sharing the database, and the incorrect one was set in Profiler. 10 second fix. The Help button in the Databases section of the Android app has all the details. | | | Thanks for your support.

Reading database: check
Copying profiles: gets stuck at the beginning (no yellow in the progress bar) and disconnects on the PC end
I would delete and re-install, but since the app isn't in the GP store anymore, that's not possible.
Edit: Silly me, database repair did the trick! | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
