| | Posted: | | | | The other day when I tried to load an export file in ProfilerQuery I got an error. I was surprised at the, because I had loaded many hundreds of export files without any problem. Upon examination of the export file I found this:  I'm baffled. I have never seen Profiler screw up an export like this. And I'm 100% sure it's not of my doing. I ran the export again, and this time there was no error. Has anybody ever seen anything like this? Hardware problem? Unlikely, since I haven't seen any other problems? Power spike? I guess I shouldn't worry too much about a one-off like this, but I'm curious. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users.

Our PCs are correcting who knows how many errors per second from network transmission glitches, weak memory chips, corrupt hard drive sectors, and the list goes on. It’s a testament to the error correction technology that even more don’t slip thru and get manifested to the user. | | | Thanks for your support.

Only, in my experience hardware errors are seldom this subtle. I have run a disk check and memory diagnostics, and no problems found.
