I am having a problem with my iOS copy of my database.  I have a PC version of the DB and I replicate with my PC on my iPhone.  I discovered by accident that one of my profiles does not appear on my iPhone.  The total number of profiles is reported correctly, but at least one of my profiles does not appear when I do a title search (how can I find out if other titles are missing?).  Even if I order by title or by collection number and then search accordingly I cannot find the title on my iPhone.  Obviously the title is there on my PC.

I even deleted the DB from my iPhone and re-synch'd from scratch but the same title is missing.

I have searched the forums for similar problems and could not find anything.  Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Ok,

today I found out that in addition to the original missing title (Kung Fu: The Complete First Season) I have at least two other titles missing on my iPhone (Fringe: The Complete First Season and Fringe: The Complete Second Season).
This is frustrating because I use my iPhone to make sure that I do not buy something that I already own.
I again deleted the database on the phone (after creating an empty one and setting it as the default db) and then re-synched the db on my PC.  Still after the update, the same entries are missing.
Any ideas?

Have you tried repairing your database first, and then sync the collection on your PC with your iphone?

Yes I have done that.  I actually did it again tonight:  1) Repaired the database; 2) Created a local db on the iPhonel 3) Deleted the db connected to the pc; 4) recreated the db connected to the PC.

Now I only have the original entry missing (I cannot confirm that this is the only entry missing, as I have over 7000 entries and it will take forever), the two missing Fringe entries are now in the DB but Kung-Fu Season 1 is still missing.

However I did discover that if I disable the "nest box sets" option, the Kung-Fu season 1 entries are all there (box set + individual disc entries).  So apparently, the entries are all there on the iPhone but some of them are not visible when nested.

Part of your confusion may be due the fact that the nest box sets option only works about half the time in the iOS version, meaning some child profiles will show up nested on your iPhone while others will not. This was a constant irritation for me until I got the PC version. Now I’ve found that for those child profiles that don’t nest properly on your iPhone, there is a quick fix. On your PC, remove the child profile from its parent, save the edit and then put the child profile back under the parent. This works every time. I can only assume that some flag gets reset properly by doing this.
