Funny. Same thing happened to me two days ago, left the "refreshing updated images" box on for 8 hours with no progress (high CPU use for the program all the time, though). I hadn't been into the program for nearly two months, so whatever update was the latest when you tried a month ago would have been included when I updated my profiles now too.

Helped with a database repair, though. Thanks for the tip.
