Video: Widescreen 2.40:1 Audio: English: DTS-HD Master Audio: 5.1, Audio Descriptive: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Portuguese: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Portuguese, Spanish Stars:Johnny Depp (1963) Joel Edgerton Benedict Cumberbatch Dakota Johnson Kevin Bacon Peter Sarsgaard Plot:IN 1970s SOUTH BOSTON, FBI agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James "Whitey" Bulger (Johnny Depp) to collaborate with the FBI in order to eliminate their common enemy: the Italian mob. Black Mass tells the story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Bulger to evade law enforcement while escalating his power to become one of the most notorious gangsters in U.S. history. Extras:Scene Access Featurettes Digital Copy My Thoughts: Me being a fan of movies that are from true events, and a fan of history. I knew about the story, seen something before on tv. And i knew that he was caught not many years ago. And this biopic about his life, and how things was "handled" back when he was the boss was real interesting. And Johnny Depp as Mr.Bulger a crimeboss was actually refreshing. Not used to see Depp in those kind of roles, and he did a good job too IMHO. Overall this was a good action\mob movie, based on a true story or not. I would highly recommand to check it out! I really enjoyed it anyways. My Rating: 5/6 |

Extras:Scene Access Featurettes BD-Live Digital Copy My Thoughts: I remember seeing the trailer for this one when it first came out. I have wanted to see it every since. After seeing the film I had a mixed reaction to it. Mainly because this movie was not what I was expecting when I saw the trailer. But at the same time I really did enjoy it. Part of me felt a little disappointed because I didn't get what I was expecting when we popped in the disc...but yet another part of me was fixated on the film. I thought Scarlett Johansson was great in the title role. I would definitely recommend this film but if possible do not watch the trailer beforehand... or at least do not go into it with expectations from the trailer. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Faced with strange rules and increasingly frightening behaviour, the children soon realise it will take all their wits to make it home alive. Critics rave, the latest heart-pounding thriller from writer/director M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN (THE SIXTH SENSE, SIGNS) and producer JASON BLUM (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, THE PURGE, INSIDIOUS) is a "DELICIOUSLY CREEPY ... LITTLE TRIUMPH." Extras:Scene Access Deleted Scenes Featurettes Digital Copy My Thoughts: I've seen mixed reviews about this movie so i hadnt too high expectations watching it. But man, what a cool horror movie it really was! It started off a bit slow, with a few events here and there. And boom there comes a real cool twist in the middle of the movie i never saw coming, and after that it picked up. I really enjoyed this one. If you go in with low expactations i think you really will like it and find the twist real cool. I recommand you to check it out. My Rating: 5/6 |

Video: Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: None Stars:Stockard Channing as Janice Ellen Muth as Jane Kelly Rowan as Ms. Lynn Walcott Jenny O'Hara as Beth RuPaul [RuPaul Charles] as Jimmy Noah Fleiss as Ned Plot:Jane's mom (Stockard Channing) assumes her daughter is just like every other sixteen-year-old girl - a little confused about growing up. Jane (Ellen Muth) figures her mom is just like every other mom - a little too protective, but loving. They figure they have a good relationship, until Jane falls in love with the new girl at school. Jane knows she is gay but her mom is completely unwilling to accept this fact. Their mother-daughter relationship is broken unless they can find a way to remember how much they love each other. Extras:None My Thoughts: I felt that they did a wonderful job with this film. It felt realistic and I must say it broke my heart (and kinda pissed me off) seeing how much trouble the mother had accepting the idea her daughter is a lesbian. To me a parent should be healthy, happy and safe. Sure it means they are going to have a tougher time in life. I am not blind... I can see that. But it is a parent's job to help their child through the tough times in their lives...not add to them. Anyway, I enjoyed every moment of this movie. Despite it being pure drama (not a favorite genre). Well worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Digital Copy My Thoughts: I must say I loved this film. It is a great continuation of the Rocky franchise. But it is more then that... this film is both a continuation and a remake at the same time. With Rocky taking over the role of Mickey training Apollo Creed's son. I went out of this one wanting to see at least one more installment into the franchise. This film is definitely worth the time put in to watch it....highly recommended! My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Longtime best friend of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Ed Harris), Jimmy, now 55, is haunted by the sins of his past — as well as a dogged police detective (Vincent D'Onofrio) who's been one step behind Jimmy for 30 years. Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Digital Copy My Thoughts: Well, we all know what we get with a Liam Neeson movie. Usually a fast pased action movie, with alot of shooting and swearing. And it wasnt any different here, but there was some big names in the movie who showed that they still got it. They plot wasnt anything special, but they made it work. And it was cool to see both Ed Harris and Bruce McGill again, (being a fan of Rizzoli & Isles the tv-show, where he plays now) I recommand you to take a look at the movie, just know what its a typical Neeson movie. With alot of action and some real good moments here and there. My Rating: 4.5/6 |
