I downloaded a couple new awards and some updates to the ones I already have... I know I need to load the new ones into the program... but do I need to reload the updated ones for it to see the updates as well? | | | Pete |

If you are using the plugin: Download the files that have changed and import them. If you are using my stand-alone program: Update your awards via File->Update->Other data... (changed awards are pre-selected; no manual download from my homepage is necessary) If you are using both and you are using the same Viewer database for both, then you only need to update it inside the stand-alone program.

Primarily the Original title is compared. The title in the award files should be the one, which would be entered into the original title field according to Profiler rules. If that is not the case, then the award file needs adjustments (updates are welcomed).

| Posted: | | | | Since it is a Double feature disc. (The original film & the sequel) If the way the original title is entered: Grand blond avec une chaussure noire, Le/Retour du grand blond, Le is messing with the way the plug in looks at it. Since I was the one that submitted the title, I may have done this wrong. As for understanding my original post, keep in mind I was born in and still live in Texas. So English is my second language! Bobb If it is a double featured disc with two titles and the title field contains both film title, then it will not find the awards of course. If you create child profiles for both, it will find the awards for each title. Also "Grand blond avec une chaussure noire, Le" seems incorrect. Articles are not appended. It should be "Le Grand blond avec une chaussure noire". | | |

Actually if blond is the noun and grand is the adjective it would be "Le Grand Blond avec une chaussure noire". French title capitalisation is quite complex. But then I guess your plugin is not case sensitive to titles. | | | Last edited: by RHo |

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I've installed your CCV Plugin for DVDProfiler 3.0, but I have a problem running it... As soon as I start DVDProfiler, now an error message pops up saying: "Creating an instance of the COM component with CSLID {FCDCCCFF-C92B-4983-909A-9A968FFA7ED1} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 800a01ad"
I already installed the Office Web Components and both the OCX files are already in the System32 directory...
Do you have any suggestions to solve the problem? Thanks
PS: I'm running WinXP Italian version
PPS: I've tried also the standalone version of your program, but it doesn't start... The error message tells: "Run-time error '429' ActiveX component can't create object" | | | Last edited: by Rikus |

| Posted: | | | | Thank you Tom,
I already looked for the presence of that DLLs, as you suggested to others before, ad they already where there... ...but they where unregistered!
I manually registered the DLLs by modifiing the "RUN.BAT" file included in one of the downloads from your site an now everything goes well! Many thanks again |

| Posted: | | | | I know I'm going to kick myself when I find out the answer to this but... Where does one find what's referred to in this instruction: "If you already have an existing Cinematic Collection Viewer database you can select it with "Plugins->CCVPlugin->Administration->Select database..." The plugin isn't listed under the tools, view plugins. I tried downloading and reinstalling but got the message that it's already running! So where does one find this step: "Plugins->CCVPlugin->Administration->Select database..." ?? Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | OK...I've now got the plugin properly installed and it's showing up under tools, view plugins. Still unclear as to how to assign the database (I have already created that using the stand alone version.) I guess I'm asking where to type in "Plugins->CCVPlugin->Administration->Select database...". |

| Posted: | | | | If it's installed successfully, you should see an additional menu item next to Help, called Plugins. Clicking on that should give you the opyion to select CCVPlugin|Administration|Select database successsively. If you don't see the new menu item, your installtion was unsuccessful. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | its all gone horribly wrong. It was working but I tried reselecting the database - just to confirm I had the right one... And now I can't see any awards and when I go into the stand alone program everything is in German. I've looked in the ini file and the setting is LocalLanguage=en-US | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |
