My Thoughts:
This was a movie i wanted to check out, ever since i knew about it. I really enjoyed the original Evil Dead. Aand i guess maby i expected a bit more. The movie had its moments here and there, a few good scare moments too. But thinking back to the first original movie, they took the oportunity. I feel that they could have done a bit more in this one. If you havent seen the original but just want to check out this, i guess its an ok horror movie. But as a remake they could have done just a bit more. Not more than avrage.

My Thoughts:

Last night we all got together over here and watched their copy of Iron Man 3. This is the first time I got to see this one... and like the others I enjoyed it very much. Great film... lots of fun to watch. However... I will say this third one is definitely my least favorite of the three. I just didn't care much for a couple of directions the story took. Still well worth the time put in to watch it... a must see if you are a fan of the first 2 films.

My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite Disney Classics. Almost up there with movies like Lion King. I've always enjoyed this one. But never seen it in HD. So when i found it on sale, i just had to get it. And IMHO they did a great job with the tranfser. Both the picture and sound is much better from the DVD.I always get in a good mood when watching it. What Disney has done with their classics is amazing. (Almost perfect) This is a must have and a must see. Well worth a doubledip.

My Thoughts:
1957-59 I was in Germany with USAF, there I became a sports car fan and of Formula One, F1 racing. We had site overlooking Nürburgring. When I came back to the US, I bought a TR3, the first of many sports cars and joined the Sports Car Club of America and spent most of my spare time involved with sports cars, racing and rallying all over the Southeast. Thus my fascination of auto racing of every kind. Thus I have to see every movie about the motor car racing.

Rush is one of the best I've seen. Great extremes were taken from every aspect of film making for reality in the the character's lives, the racing action, the actual F1 cars to the 70's era fashions. Niki Lauda who is still alive was consulted both in the writing of the script and during the making of the movie to get every aspect correct. Daniel Brühl who plays Niki Lauda went it visit Niki Lauda in Austria to consult with him and get his speech pattern down to the point Niki's relatives thought that Niki Lauda did a voice over for the movie, but he did not. James Hunt died of a heart attack in 1993, age 45. Chris Hemsworth who plays James Hunt lost his bulk from playing action heros, and became the spitting image James Hunt. This movie should hold the interest of a wider audience than most racing movies because is a character driven in the lives of these two great race car drivers, their loves and what makes them tick. Although so totally different individuals, great enemies on the track but other wise they became friends.

My Rating: 5/5;

My Thoughts:
This was a blindbuy after i read a review of the movie. The movie is based on a true story about a serialkiller in Alaska, who kidnapped, raped and killed his victims. And the movie put us trough a journey where we follow a determined cop and a brave vitness. And we see the hunt on one of the worst serialkillers out there. The Cop in charge played by Nic Cages does a great job. And so does Vanessa Hudgens as one of the suriveres. A great thriller with this dark story, with some great acting. This thriller is highly recommanded.

My Thoughts:
So, this was based on a true story huh? I bought it mainly because of 'The Rock' "The largest heist in US History" huh? Well, i found the movie boring. The story was too slow. And the cast wasnt the best i've seen. Seen 'The Rock' much better. And Emma Roberts just had a tiny part. I ended up not liking the movie. But if you find the heist, or the story about it interesting. Give it a try, but just for the movie. Skip it!

Johnny Depp (Sleepy Hollow), Mary Stuart Masterson (Bed of Roses) and Aidan Quinn (Practical Magic) star in this wonderfully unique and delightfully offbeat romantic comedy.

My Thoughts:

I got this one used cheap. It is one I have seen before... but it has been so many years ago... it is like seeing it again for the first time. But going into it I did remember enjoying it the first time I seen it... which is about the only thing I remembered about it. The main reason I picked this one up is because I have been a Johnny Depp fan since his days on the TV series 21 Jump Street. I must say... this film lived up to my memory. I enjoyed every moment. In my opinion Johnny Depp stole the film. His character was a lot of fun. I would so get along with a person like his character. Some may say he is strange... but to me he just looks like a lot of fun. But this is more then just a funny film. It is also a very sweet love story. If you haven't had the chance to see this one yet I definitely recommend it.

My Thoughts:

This is a film I got cheap at Big Lots recently. I picked this one up because I been a fan of Kristen Bell since her Veronica Mars days. I enjoyed this film... but I definitely seen better Romantic Comedies. It is a cute idea.. I just think it could have been handled a bit better. Kristen Bell was great in this... and I like that they had Danny DeVito as one of the coin owners. Definitely worth a watch... but don't go in expecting too much.

My Thoughts:

Last night we watched this film. It is one I borrowed from the library. Well going into this one you pretty much know what to expect... just a fun and cute film for the entire family. Which is exactly what you get. Of course my being a fan of the superhero films this one appealed to me even more. I found it to be a nice surprise to have some familiar people doing some of the voice roles. There was Colin Hanks from Roswell and Debra Jo Rupp from That '70s Show. I feel comfortable recommending this film for the entire family. I plan on adding this (as well as the other "Buddies" film) to my collection before too long.

I enjoyed it then so went ahead and grabbed this one when I saw it cheap. I found I enjoyed it just as much as the first time I saw it. I would have liked to seen a few more extras on the disc, but at least it has a few features to check out. I really liked that they got Lynda Carter to play the principle. My Thoughts:

I went into this one not expecting much. When it comes to Jack Black it really can go either way... I have liked half the stuff I seen him in... and the other half I just couldn't stand. And the trailer really wasn't any help either. It looked like it could be right funny... but at the same time it looked like it could have gone the other way and been just stupid. After watching it... I have to say it had it's moments... but or the most part I really just wasn't impressed. Thankfully this is a DVD I got for free. But I wouldn't recommend wasting your time to watch this one.

Yesterday I got this blu-ray release and I just couldn't wait to watch it again. Sure there is a lot here that is awful silly... but even the first time I watch this film that is something I was expecting. I just find this to be a plain fun film. The blu-ray disc also has a lot of extras on it. Lots of deleted scenes and lots of featurettes as well as the other things listed above. My Thoughts:

I remember seeing this one on VHS back in my teen years. But I haven't seen it sense. It is funny how some films stick with you. Even though I haven't seen this film in close to 30 years as I watched this one it all came flooding back to me. I actually could remember seeing most the scenes in the film. This is one I enjoyed very much. I don't know how popular it was back in the day... because I remember recommending it several times when I worked in the video store... and remember basically none of them knowing this film beforehand. Anyway this was a fun blast from the past for me. Definitely worth the tme to watch. It is one I borrowed from the library... so hoping to add it to my own collection before too long.

My Thoughts:

We decided to watch this film today... Somehow this is a film that got by me as I never even heard of it before. After watching this film from my friends collection... I have to say,,, I must add this film to my collection! James Franco was simply amazing! The story draws you in and keeps your attention through-out the film with ease. And the fact that it is a true story only adds to it. A very powerful story to say the least. If you haven't seen this film yet... I can't recommend it high enough. It really is a must see film.
