| | Posted: | | | | My downstairs family room is pretty much unfinished so I have free reign as to what I want to do with it. The only problem is that there's a support pole almost in the middle of the room that hinders what layout I pick. But eventually, I'll have a 110" screen with a 1080 projector with 7.1 surround sound. |

Currently we have settled for a small microwave in the game room and we pop as we go (still get the popcorn smell in the theater room, but just not the same). The room was my office/spare bedroom but when wireless became the norm, I began doing more work on the sofa, so I converted the room into the theater. The only restriction my wife put on me was that I could not damage the walls, baseboards, etc. The room needed to be able to be turned back into a bedroom without a major expense or effort. So the the screen wall is nothing more than curtains & drapes and the screen is actually hung like a picture. The theater seats I got from the local theater chain for only $25 per seat. So pretty cheap. I also wanted the nicer chairs, but in retrospect, we are able to fit more people in there this way which works out well during sporting events. The sofa is a sofa-bed for guests. I have the woodface version and love it. Until my wife came back from vacation with 100 more DVDs and I have to consider getting another one  Easy to put together, easy to anchor to wall, easy to load up with 700+ DVDs. You purchased wisely. | | | Jesse C. Slicer

Dude...I bought 2 of them and they're both already full. Gonna have to order another but I don't know where I'm going to put it . My problem is I live in an 1 bedroom apartment would love one of these big units but no room. If I did find room it would make my apartment so crowded. |
