Have you seen The Lady Vanishes? It's quite a good movie in its own right--the Hitchcock original, I mean--but I think it would be interesting for you to see some of the similarities to Flightplan. |

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French Stars:Kristen Bell as Beth Josh Duhamel as Nick Anjelica Huston as Celeste Danny DeVito as Al Will Arnett as Antonio Jon Heder as Lance Plot:Bring home the must-own romantic comedy of the year, filled with wildly funny twists and turns! When Beth, an unlucky-in-love New York curator (Kristen Bell), takes a whirlwind trip to Rome for her sister's wedding, an unexpected crush takes her by surprise. Quickly let down, she defiantly plucks coins from the Fontana de Amore, magically igniting the passions of some comically unsuitable suitors. As a charming reporter (Josh Duhamel) becomes zealously smitten, Beth is skeptical that he's the real deal. Don't miss hilarious performances from an all-star cast you'll want to see again and again. Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Music Videos Outtakes/Bloopers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This is another one I borrowed from the library. I didn't think I ever seen this one before... but once I popped it in I realized I did... must have been either from Netflx or on cable. I grabbed this one because I been a fan of Kristen Bell since her Veronica Mars days. I enjoyed it... but it is not the best romantic comedy I ever seen. But it is definitely well worth the time put in to watch it. It has a bit of a slow start... but it does pick up before you know it. Kristen Bell was great in this... and I like that they had Danny DeVito as one of the coin owners. It definitely added to the laughs. I can see adding this one to my collection eventually. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

I really been on a library kick lately. I grabbed this one because (as you can see from the front cover alone) it has a lot of big names in it. After watching it I have to say I really wasn't impressed much at all. It had a moment here and there... but over-all it really wasn't worth the time I put in to watch it. I did like one or two of the segments... but that is about it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Stars:Will Payne Jaime Murray Sean Power Sacha Parkinson Chris Waller John-Christian Bateman Plot:By day Gerri Dandridge is a sexy professor, but by night she transforms into a real-life vampire with an unquenchable thirst for human blood. So when a group of high school students travel abroad to study in Romania, they find themselves ensnared in her chilling web of lust and terror. Charlie and “Evil” Ed must stop Gerri from drinking and bathing in the blood of a “new moon virgin,” which just so happens to be Charlie’s ex-girlfriend, Amy. They enlist help from Peter Vincent, the vampire hunting host of a reality show called "Fright Night," to drive a stake through Gerri’s plan and save Amy from a fate far worse than death. My Thoughts: I just watched this one... I enjoyed it but felt they did it in an odd way. They call this part 2... but yet it is not a remake of the original part two... and is not a continuation of the part 1 remake. This is more of a combination of parts 1 and 2. Which I really thought was pretty cool. And I did like what they did with the Peter Vincent character this time. Oddly when I first finished watching this one I felt I enjoyed it... but wasn't overly impressed. But the longer I sat back thinking about it the more I liked it. I would say this one is worth checking out. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

I cant recommand this one to anyone. Just truly bad. My Rating: 1/6 |

I've seen the thrailer for this movie before and it looked like a good one. And just a few days ago my brother told me i should check it out, since he enjoyed it. And today i finally did. And the movie was allright. A bit different then i thought it would be, but they made it work. Actually a cool spy thriller. This is a movie you should check out for a cheap penny IMHO, and on this blu-ray set you got some real cool extras aswell! Always a bonus. My Rating: 4/6 |

Extras:Scene Access My Thoughts: This is one I never got to see until now... surprising as there is a lot of good cast members in this one... like Molly Ringwald (I just love a redhead!), Alan Alda, Madeline Kahn and Joe Pesci.... and at the time this came out I was working at a video store... so I definitely had the opportunity. I found the film to be right entertaining. Maybe not the best comedy I ever seen... but was well worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

The two drive through a wall to escape an explosive building...five stories up. Fasten your seatbelt. Extras:Scenevalg Feature Trailers My Thoughts: Well, that was actually a better movie then i expected! A good oldschool action movie with high paced action scenes trough out the whole thing. And personally i have to say that it was good to see Charlie Sheen back in his prime, when he was as great as he could be. Its a shame to see whats happend to him the last few years. With the focus on anything but his career. And Clint Eastwood ofc is always a solid act. This is a great action movie and its highly recommaned! Just two hours of great fun! My Rating: 5/6 |

Caught in the storm was the sword-fishing boat Andrea Gail. Magnificent foreshadowing and anticipation fill this true-life drama while minute details of the fishing boats, their gear and the weather are juxtaposed with the sea adventure Extras:My Thoughts: So this movie i've been wanting to rewatch for a while now. And it is a allright movie for a number of reasons. The movie is based on a true story, wich always helps (i really enjoy movies based on a true story) and being the big Clooney fan that i am, and remember watching the movie when it came out and liked it then. The movie wasnt as good as i remembered it to be, but still quite allright. And again Clooney did an allright job with telling this strong story that it is. And i just have to say a quick comment about the special/visual efects. Amazing! This drama his recommanded to check out! My Rating: 4/6 |

The picture and sound in this bluray was amazing. I havent seen the DVD (that i know of) so i dont have anything to compare it to. But i really enjoyed this! This is highly recommanded! Video: Anamorphic Widescreen :1, Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars:Jimmy Bennett as Toe Thompson Jake Short as Nose Noseworthy Kat Dennings as Stacey Thompson Trevor Gagnon as Loogie Devon Gearhart as Cole Black Jolie Vanier as Helvetica Black Plot:While grownups at Black Box Industries work to improve the handheld gizmo that's this year's high-tech must-have, neighborhood kid Toby "Toe" Thompson has something even better: he's found the Wishing Rock. Be careful what you wish for, Toe! Spy Kids filmmaker Robert Rodriguez hatches a fun-filled story of the chaos that erupts when folks young and old get their hands on the rainbow-striped stone. Hang out with an army of tiny outer-space friends? Turn a pesky brother into a beetle? Own a mountain of cash? Be the most powerful person in the world? Great young talents join stars Jon Cryer, William H. Macy, Leslie Mann and James Spader in the hilarious not-so-tall tales of Shorts. Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Featurettes My Thoughts: I watched this one when I woke last night in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. It is a movie I recently borrowed from the library. It was entertaining for a film made for kids... but I definitely seen better. The main boy (Jimmy Bennett) in this one looked very familiar. When I checked to see who it was I found out he starred as the son in one of my favorite short lived series... No Ordinary Family. And playing his big sister was Kat Dennings (2 broke Girls). Playing their father was Jon Cryer (2 and a Half Men). So there was a lot of familiar faces in this one for me. The main problem I had with this film was how they showed the film in short segments (reason for the title) out of order. I mean it wasn't really hard to follow... but just felt unnecessary. I wouldn't mind adding this film to my collection eventually... but it isn't something I would be in a hurry to add. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

But then I have found that Jack Black movies have been pretty hit and miss for me. I recommend skipping this one. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5
