Perhaps you meant "The Owned category will be shown in the dropdown list if the selected DVD is in All" ? No I meant what I said. Try it. You'll see. That is the second sentence. Read the first one also. And oh, you're welcome. Maybe this will help - the drop down uses this field : <CollectionType IsPartOfOwnedCollection="true">4K UHD</CollectionType> In the case that this DVD is being viewed in the "All" tab, this field correctly positions the drop down to "4K UHD" instead of "Owned", which is more likely to be helpful than ignoring the category. | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | I'm still very confused. Are you assuming that there is a collection category named "4K UHD"? And why would being part of the Owned collection be relevant? That's not the same as being in the "All" tab. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

If not, please supply a screen shot or example, or rest your case. If there is a bug, I will fix it. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. I missed seeing that statement for V2.91. What collections do you have? Does this always happen. or only when you are in the "All" tab? I will test to try and recreate your situation. Found the bug. It was on my list, just overlooked fixing it. Easy, once my feeble brain figured out what you were talking about. I went back and found your statement. I glanced over it on first reading. I do have a blind spot due to retinal damage from an arthritis drug I was taking. Not an excuse, but it does cause me this sort of problem from time to time. | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | BulkEdit V2.93 Available (Updated from V2.92)- Fixed bug in Add To Collection. Profile is now saved to the collection indicated by the drop down selection. The Collection drop down is pre-filled from the displayed profile, and will in most cases be the same as the selected tab collection. - Added Title field for user convenience. Dialog form adjusts to title size. - Locality, Title and Collection are pre-filled from the displayed profile when "Clone Displayed Profile" is checked. The candidate profile ID is synthesized by using "_" followed by the displayed profile's base ID truncated to 15 characters (actually, 16 might work. I will test, and if so, I will it change in the future.) When Add to Collection is clicked, the generated profile uses the values in the Title, ID Base, Locality and Collection drop downs at that moment. The user can change those values manually at any time, overriding the pre-filled values. If "Clone Displayed Profile" is checked, the DVD Profiler copy / paste dialogs are triggered for additional customization. Screen Shot: Hmm ... now getting a bug I never saw before. Soon as I fix it, I will update the plugin. (Fixed: V2.93) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! It was a cancelled flight, bringing with it a cascade of re-booking of associated hotel, car and parking arrangements. So, I'm all set for the moment. Hopefully, I will get some down time in the hotel this evening to play with the code. Flight is tomorrow morning, so I've got time for an all-night debugging session! | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Seems to work fine, with one very minor exception. (Don't hate me!) When I tried to create a profile in my category "** Test **" it ended up in no category at all, but was shown in "All".
XML: <CollectionType IsPartOfOwnedCollection="false"/>
I'm perfectly happy to accept that as a limitation. Just thought I'd mention it.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! I'm not sure what limitation that would be. Any category that is accepted by DVD Profiler, should appear in the drop down and should work. So, I will create a category called "** Test **" and try it myself. Just tried it, by changing one of my existing categories to "** Test **". Then cloned a profile into that category. Got this: "<CollectionType IsPartOfOwnedCollection="true">** Test **</CollectionType>" So, there must be a nuance involved that needs to be discovered. If you can think of anything, let me know. There is no limitation intended, particularly not one based on a specific category name. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | Not sure if it makes any difference, but I created an empty profile, didn't clone one. I can't test it right now, but I'll give it a try later to see if it makes a difference. The other categories worked fine, so I'm not overly concerned.
It is, of course, possible that it wasn't the oddly named category that caused this, but something else that I did. I'll see if I can reproduce the problem. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
