Video: Anamorphic Widescreen Stars:Peter Weller as Batman (Voice) Ariel Winter as Robin (Voice) David Selby as Commissioner Gordon (Voice) Wade Williams as Harvey Dent (Voice) Carlos Alazraqui as Hernando (Voice) Dee Bradley Baker as Don (Voice) Plot:Another night falls over Gotham City and with the darkness out crawls the crime and villainy from the shadows. The days of The Batman and other noble super heroes are but faded memories; violence and despair are now the harbingers of out time. But one event will set a change into motion: when Harvey "Two Face" Dent shuns a former rehabilitated life for a descent into corruption, an aged and weathers Bruce Wayne dons the mask and cape once more. With a stellar voice cast headed by Peter Weller, Ariel Winter and David Selby, this gritty DC Comics legend comes to life with unforgettable battles, thrilling chases and the promise of a better tomorrow for humanity, because there is nowhere for criminals to hide when the Dark Knight returns. Extras:Bonus Trailers A Sneak Peak at Batman: The Dark Knight Returns: Part 2 A Sneak Peak at Superman/Batman: Public Enemies My Thoughts: Another animated Batman movie for me to enjoyed. And enjoy it I did. Though I do admit that it was different then I was expecting. Batman is older then I realized he would be... but he can still get the job done. And I was really surprised to see a female Robin. I guess surprises like this is to be expected when you don't read the comics. I does seem like Batman is going a little over the top with his return. But going by the trailer... I thought it would be worse then it actually was. Of course I am sure he will go even further in the next part. While I was fine with how they ended part 1... there was no way I wasn't going to stick part 2 in immediately afterwards. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.66:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Portuguese: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Thai: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai Stars:Peter Weller as Batman (Voice) Ariel Winter as Robin (Voice) Michael Emerson as Joker (Voice) David Selby as Congressman Noches (Voice) Dee Bradley Baker as Don (Voice) Paget Brewster as Lana Lang (Voice) Plot:The Dark Knight and the brave, young Carrie Kelly at his side as Robin have finally reclaimed Gotham City and allowed a ray of hope to penetrate the reign of terror that The Mutants cast upon their city. With Batman back in the spotlight, the extended media coverage has awoken a far worse evil at Arkham Asylum – The Joker! Destined to be Batman's mortal enemy, The Joker has a diabolical scheme that may pull Batman down to the darkest levels of insanity. Meanwhile, on the horizon, a global catastrophe races toward Gotham, and with it comes a familiar face, the Man of Steel, though this time he has Batman in his sights. A returning voice cast, headed by Peter Weller, Ariel Winter and David Selby, delivers the epic finale of this DC Comics legend. Watch as the aging Dark Knight wages a tireless war against crime while proving that courage and will are indeed timeless. Extras:Bonus Trailers Featurettes 2 Episodes of Batman: The Animated Series 1 Episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold My Thoughts: I watched this one last night after watching part 1. It is a good continuation to the story... I enjoyed it quite a bit. I got used to the female Robin... which seemed a little strange to me at first but ended up really liking the character. I did find it a little weird how Batman looked at this Robin as more of an employee... always threatening to fire her. While these Batman films are different then what I am usually used to and expect to see... they are definitely worth the time put in to watch them. I recommend checking them out. But everything changes with the appearance of a cunning cat burglar (Anne Hathaway) and the arrival of Bane (Tom Hardy), a ruthless madman. Bane's reign of terror forces Bruce out of his self-imposed exile and into the ultimate battle for Gotham City's survival...and his own. Extras:Featurettes Gallery Digital Copy My Thoughts: Last night Brittany and I watched this one. Since I watched it with her... we were able to watch the blu-ray version. I enjoyed this one quite a bit... but I was expecting more from it. I don't know... maybe I let the hype get to me a little too much. I has a pretty good story... but I would have liked to seen Batman on screen more then what we did. The way they did Bane in this one seemed a little odd to me as well. Not bad mind you... just odd. This is one that is definitely worth checking out... just don't let the hype get to you. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

It has been many years since I saw this movie. I actually forgot how much I enjoyed it! Sure there was some slow scenes in it... but even they kept me interested in the story. My mind didn't drift at all during the film. If there was anything I would have liked to have seen differently it is how the film ended. While I understand why it ended the way it did... and even enjoyed the way it ended.... I think I would have preferred it to end the opposite way. But if it did... it would have changed the entire second movie. We enjoyed watching this one so much this morning that as soon as it was over... my brother and I popped in the second film in the series. I highly recommend it! My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Pan & Scan 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Mono, Spanish: Dolby Digital: Mono Subtitles: French, Spanish Stars:Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa Talia Shire as Adrian Burt Young as Paulie Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed Burgess Meredith as Mickey Tony Burton as Duke Plot:Rocky battles his most powerful adversary yet - the ferocious Clubber Lang (Mr. T.) - in this hard-hitting actioner that comes out swinging with adventure, humor and emotionally charged human drama. For what may be the most exciting and fast-paced film in the series, Sylvester Stallone writes, directs and stars with explosive passion and intensity. As Rocky Balboa (Stallone) fights his way into the hearts of millions, life couldn't be better. He scores ten consecutive wins, lands lucrative endorsement contracts, and becomes famous throughout the world. But when Clubber Lang K.O.s Rocky in a humiliating defeat, it becomes apparent that the "Italian Stallion" has lost his edge. Considering hanging up his gloves, Rocky receives encouragement from an unlikely ally: his old nemesis, Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). With Creed's help, Rocky strives to regain the "eye of the tiger" before confronting Lang in a grueling rematch for the world heavyweight championship. Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: My brother and I just finished watching this one. We really been on a roll on these films. This is the shortest of all the Rocky films. It is also one that isn't quite as serious... as dramatic as the previous two. While this isn't a bad thing I do prefer the previous two movies over it. I am not saying this is a bad movie... it isn't. Not at all. I still enjoyed it a lot. The biggest downer of this one for me is what they did with the character Mickey. Sure they needed to do it to tell the story the wanted to tell... but I still hated seeing it happen. Mickey was a great character played by one of my favorite actors.... Burgess Meredith. Once again... a movie I definitely recommend. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Sylvester Stallone writes, directs and stars in this war between nations in which the only battle is fought in a boxing ring. Rocky (Stallone) proudly holds the world heavyweight championship, but a new challenger has stepped forward: Drago (Dolph Lundgren), a six-foot four, 261-pound fighter who has the backing of the Soviet Union. This time, Rocky's training regimen takes him to icy Siberia, where he prepares for a globally-televised match in the heart of Moscow. But nothing can truly prepare him for what he's about to face - a powerfully charged fight to the finish in which he must defend not only himself, but also the honor of his country! Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Despite the obvious over-patriotic stance this film has... both my brother and I enjoyed this one very much. Just as much as we did part 3. I enjoyed the story... and I thought it has a couple good fights in it. I did hate seeing the fate of Apollo Creed. But once again this was needed to tell the story they were trying to tell. We keep losing the characters I like... but yet the character I so do not like (Paulie) remains there till the end of the franchise. I must say... I have been rather disappointed in the DVDs themselves. There is next to nothing on them when it comes to extras. Well... at least we do get the Theatrical Trailer on each disc. To make matters worse, his fight-related injuries force his retirement from the ring. So Rocky, his wife Adrian (Talia Shire) and his son Rocky Jr. (Sage Stallone) move to their old low-rent neighborhood in South Philadelphia. There, the fighter must resolve the deep-rooted resentment held by his son, a bitterness that grows when Rocky trains Tommy Gunn, a young boxer who soon rises to national prominence. When Tommy turns against his mentor and publicly taunts him, Rocky knows he must fight once more. *1976 Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Looking at other reviews for this one surprises me a bit. This one is really an under-appreciated film. One that I enjoyed very much. It is my favorite since the first two. It is one that my brother and I disagree on... as this is his least favorite of the series. not that he didn't like it... he said he did very much... it is just his least favorite. I really liked how this one brings us back to where it all started. I also liked that they took the final fight out of the ring for this one... making it a street fight. Once again I want to say how I am disappointed in the extras for this set. No real extras included. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

While I don't think it was as good as the previous film... it is one I enjoyed every moment of. Even though I hated what they did with the Adrian character, I do understand the reason behind it. Though it is still a little aggravating to see 3 of my favorite characters go... yet a character like Paulie is there till the very end. Just like all the previous movies... I definitely recommend seeing this one. And if you haven't seen the Rocky films in year like I haven't you should definitely revisit the franchise! They are all well worth watching! Video: Pan & Scan 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Mono, Spanish: Dolby Digital: Mono Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars:Natalie Wood (1938) as Maria Richard Beymer as Tony Russ Tamblyn as Riff Rita Moreno as Anita George Chakiris as Bernardo Simon Oakland as Lieutenant Schrank Plot:This "brilliant" (The New Republic) film sets the ageless story of Romeo and Juliet against the backdrop of gang warfare in 1950s New York. Directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins and scripted by Ernest Lehman, the film combines Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's unforgettable score ("Maria", "America", "Somewehre", "Tonight") with Robbins' own exuberant choreography to achieve an exhilarating "work of art" (Saturday Review). A love affair is fated for tragedy amidst the vicious rivalry of two street gangs – the Jets and the Sharks. When Jets member Tony (Richard Beymer) falls for Maria (Natalie Wood), the sister of the Sharks leader, it's more than these two warring gangs can handle. And as mounting tensions rise, a battle to the death ensues and innocent blood is shed in a heartbreaking finale. Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This morning my brother asked me if I wanted to watch West Side Story today. I said "want" is a bit strong of a word... but I will watch it with him. Then I realize it is a 2 and a half hour musical... Oh the torture! While I liked the storyline itself... there is just way to much singing and dancing in this one for my taste. I am sorry but I just can't feel that street gangs that go down the street singing and dancing as being tough guys to be afraid of. In this case I felt that the musical aspects really took away from the film. I would say this would have been an excellent film without the musical aspects. i did like Natalie Wood here... she was very beautiful. I realize this one the Academy Award for Best Picture... but this is one time I didn't care that much for the winner. I know that this probably won't be my most popular review here. That many people will disagree with me. I will say if musicals is your thing (they are definitely not mine)... you will most likely enjoy every minute of this one. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Extras:Scenevalg Audio Commentary Slettede scener Dokumentar Musikkvideo(er) BD-Live U Control My Thoughts: So, this is the movie i like the least of the 5 so far. I'm not going to say to much about it really. I can see they tried, but the story didnt get to me that much, as the other movies in the series did. And i didnt like the cast the had for this one aswell, why not use some of the 'original' crew? Why use a complete different\new cast? And the acting wasnt the best i've seen either. But i will not be only negative tho. Even tho the story didnt get to me as much as the others and the with the originals, it was an ok story, and i really liked the music in the movie. And there was some ok scenes. An ok action movie, but for the franchise (for me) it failed. If you like the F&F series, then you have to check it out i guess. My Rating: 3/6 |

So i wanted to check out this movie for two reasons, 1, people said great things about it. 2, Jennifer Lawrence! I liked her since i saw 'Winters Bone' and after she just won an Oscar, i decided to check this one out. The movie was an ok one, with a good story, nothing original at all. A bit predicteble (but again, in the horror\thriller genre, whats original anymore?) The movie had its moments here and there. But was a bit slow aswell, for a horror. But for me, it wasnt that much of a horror\thriller, but more of a drama\thriller. It had a cool twist in it aswell, wich is always a good thing. And i liked Jennifer Lawrence's character 'Elissa' i think she did a great job with what she had. All in all, an ok drama\thriller (IMO) With Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role, doing a good job IMO. If you find it for a cheap penny, check it out! But i wouldnt pay full price for it. My Rating: 3/6 |

I didnt know what to expect really, other than what some people told me. So i didnt have any expactions really going in to this one. First of i just want to say that this being B&W was just a bonus. Something i didnt expect really. But the movie was great, a quite interesting story with a Jack Lemmon doing a great role in this one. A fun and serious movie at once, with some smart lines here and there. A movie with great actors, and some great and smart lines (as said) A bit different movie that i would think it would be. But a good mix between comedy and drama (IMO) I really enjoyed it from start to finish. For me, a classic. That i would highly recommand you guys to check out! My Rating: 5/6 |

Extras:Scenevalg Extended Version The Recovered Files My Thoughts: Meh. I was kinda looking forward to this one, and i have to admit that i had my expactations up a bit, since i've seen the 3 movies before this, and really enjoyed it. But with this one, something was a bit off. The story was a bit dull to be honest, and the movie was a bit too slow for my liking aswell. The movie had its moments (i will give it that) as a single horror movie, it wasnt too bad actually. But looking at the franchise (wich was one of the better horror franchises IMO, 1-3) but this one wasnt quite there. Was too long from each moment, and looking back at the others, it was more stuff going on. "better acting" And i read your review of this one aswell 'Movieman' and i agree with alot of what you are saying. For me, it wasnt all bad, it had its moments. But personally, i think its enough with 4 movies. Stop "when tey are on top" but by looks of things, i think there will be a movie number 5 aswell. Dont know if thats a good or a bad thing. If you liked and have watched the 3 movies before this, give it a shot for a cheap penny. My Rating: 3/6 |

I last seen this when I was between 13 and 14 years old. That is... Wow... 30 years! But for some reason this film stuck with me through-out all those years... I remember enjoying it so much way back then. Going into it today I was a little worried on how well it would hold up. Ater watching it I found that while it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being... it is still a fun watch. Worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5
