ok but  I do not see the setting & tools  at the bottom left on galaxy s2  its blocks...  no function search ? 

I've upgraded to the latest version (0.91 for the plugin, 0.92 for the .apk), and it won't display anything anymore. The list is completely empty, but the collection stats show numbers (which makes me think it finds correctly the database). Any idea? I'd love to be able to go back to the previous version...

(Running on a Samsung Galaxy Note, with Android 4.0.4.)

I forgot to put it back. On my HTC, there is an hardware key for the search.

As for ABD running 45 minutes: 1) you have to be in disk drive/device mode 2) There is what looks like a drop down menu. That should populate with the phone ID (you may need the button to the right). 3) Yes it takes a LONG time, and for me never finds dvdp_is_here.

Did you run Droid DVDP once, and get the black screen? This automatically sets up the folder structure on the micro SD card. That should be the last new letter on your machine.

Were you able to get your phone in disk mode? The folder should be on the micro SD card NOT the main memory. . That is when you use "Use removable disk"

See what you can do this info, and we'll go from here.

I just delete all my Droid_DVDP directory on my sd card, run the application once, and the directory structure was created. Then I ran the export plugin without problem. And now the application show my db.

The directory structure IS NOT CREATED DURING THE INSTALL PROCESS BUT THE FIRST TIME YOU ARE RUNNING THE APPLICATION. Then it will tell you that the db version is not correct (because db is not even there) and export your collection.

'droid_dvdp_is_here' is not a folder, but a file located in the 'droid_dvdp' folder in the 'sdcard' :
/mnt/sdcard/droid_dvdp/droid_dvdp_is_here  is the full path

The file is not there.  Maybe I am doing something wrong.  I do not see the separate sdcard directory.

The sd card should not be a directory. The sd card should show as a drive under "My Coputer". If you aren't getting the phone and the sd card to show as drives, that is where we need to start.

Let's start there.  I see the phone but not the sd card.  The file "Droid_DVDP" appears in the phone directory.

One more thing I just thought of (since it was about 2 years ago I started with Android). When I first hooked up my phone, I was asked if I wanted to install drivers. I figured that was odd, as everything was USB, however, I ran them anyway.
I did get the HTC Sync program (Not needed here), some Verizon bloatware, and I think a driver to recognize my phone loaded. I know if I open my phone, the furthest I can go is one folder as the phone is locked. You might check with your carrier's support line (their usually fairly good) and see if a driver is needed. Or check the carrier website.
