| Posted: | | | | Is there any chance you could implement support for Multiview for those of us using large phones or tablets? It allows for the running of applications within windows on the android screen for those who have a large enough screen to multi-task.

At this point I can say that it will be at least on par with iOS 1.0 features in nearly every respect, with some additions from the latest iOS (notably DVD Profiler online sync is implemented). I currently don't have the iOS version installed anymore, so I cannot check: Is the Note field of Watched events included? It would be important for me. | | |

Quote: Just like for Windows Mobile, we could also have a "Android Beta Release Testing (Available to DVD Profiler Android registrants)" subforum. While we could, since we don't currently have one for the iOS version, I doubt we will have one for the Android version. For those two operating systems, Ken seems to be doing all his beta testing 'in house'. Unlike Apple it's easy to do an Open beta with Android. Anyone willing to check "unknown sources" could install a beta downloaded from this site. I'd be willing to test out a beta that way. | | | Tom. |

I'd be willing to test out a beta that way. One other advantage in the Android world (for developers) is the ability to make immediate releases. I expect we will have various tweaks and fixes to make with 1.0. However, without the week-long evaluation process of iOS, we can roll them out quickly. Anyone who wishes to wait for any initial bugs to be ironed out can opt to sit out the first release of course. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |
