| Posted: | | | | Just keep telling yourself that Ken is trying really hard to get the app out before the Holiday cutoff 'cause I'm sure a chap as bright as Ken would be. |

| Posted: | | | | What concerns me is that I submitted a bug report on an app that I use on my iPad and I got back a reply from the developer telling me that the fix was submitted to Apple on 11/22 but because of the usual glut of stuff that is presented at this time of year it might be more than two weeks till it would be released, that's not good for us. I still don' t have the update and it's getting close to the two week mark.

| Posted: | | | | Since Ken told us that the app is being held back due to incompatibility issues in the existing version of DVDProfiler, we first got a beta ... not one but at least three builds already, with each build getting rid of more and more bugs. My guess is he's waiting until the new version of DVDP is bug-free or at least stable enough before going ahead with the app. In that regard, he's really not sleeping on the job as I saw he fixed a bug I submitted regarding child profiles just one or two days after I submitted it. So, there's definitely activity going on but I agree that a more clear communication towards the userbase would help everyone keep their cool and be patient ... otherwise, in a few weeks the userbase will start looking like a horde of zombies AAAAAPPPPPPP! | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

Thank you for being among the 1st to really get my point! Not really. Most of us get your point. And most of us have been around long enough to realize Ken will update us when Ken updates us. Most of us have at one point or another complained about the lack of communication. And most of us finally realized that it's useless to complain. Ken will speak when he speaks. I don't like it. I don't know of anyone who does like it. But it's the way it is. He's heard our requests for more interaction for as long as I've been a member (coming up on 10 years now). At this point the ball is in his court. No amount of complaining will change that. So it's not that we don't get the point. We just realize that it's pointless to keep bugging him. Quote: Of course Ken wants to get this thing going and generate more income, but I get a vibe from his silence that he has hit a block or something...nothing to get angry about, but let his "Legion" know... Again, that would be nice if he would let us know what's up. But don't hold your breath. Also, having been a member for so long and having had the opportunity to see how things work, I would say you shouldn't draw any conclusions from his silence. He could have hit a roadblock he hasn't figured out yet. Apple could have received and rejected the app for some reason. He could surprise us and release it this afternoon. Don't assume he's run into a problem. His silence doesn't necessarily mean anything beyond the fact that he's not posted in a while. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Tom I just thought i would update this post, the app update I was waiting for came out yesterday, two weeks to the day. Given Ken's submission today it really looks good to be available before Christmas | | | Tom

| Posted: | | | | I really, really hope that is true, but given the past few weeks, let alone months, I will not be surprised if they announce next Christmas. I am Sorry, and I know I will likely get hateful responses, but for how long Profiler has been out, a iPad / iPod Version should not take as long as this has. I will check back around Christmas, and I really will keep my fingers crossed. Maybe some of you here have heard something from the Coles, but as far as I have seen or read? Still nothing. I just don't want the Coles to be surprised if a competitor beats them to the punch. Then they would have the time to come on here and complain to us if their sales were down, yet they don't have the time to come here and keep us updated? If I am wrong and someone here HAS heard from them? I am Sorry. I just have heard nothing other than "The end of the Month" for so long now. I wish nothing but the Best for the Coles and their Software. I just wish they were more "User" friendly. |

| Posted: | | | | I checked out that thread and if it is just half as good as it looks...WOW.
But how long? Not even sure how long the Apple Process is, but WOW. I hope it is soon. So far, Nothing as good as those screen shots available for iPad. Nothing.
If the Coles get this on soon? Word of mouth alone should boost sales HUGE.
Good Luck, and I hope Apple doesn't make you wait too long. | | | Last edited: by meerupps |

| Posted: | | | | I read somewhere that it usually takes a week if no issues are found. So hopefully that is the case and we can be talking about it using it next week! | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |
