Thanks for posting, Ace_of_Sevens. 2001 a Space Odyssey is, in my humble opinion, another classic movie that benifitted tremendously from the hi-def treatment. The facial traits in HD alone make this worth the upgrade.

Yeah, it really depends on the movie. The Adventures of Robin Hood is pretty interesting. The detail is stunning on the plus side. On the negative side, the painted backdrops that were used for the matte effects look like, well, painted backdrops.
