After catching some nasty neighborhood kids picking on a friend's son, they strike back by forming a three-man baseball team to challenge the state's best Little Leaguers. Now, cheered on by every nerd, geek and misfit in town, these underdogs are about to have a field day in this slapstick hit comedy from the director of Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore and producer Adam Sandler. Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Felt like watching some comedy today. Going into this one I wasn't expecting much of anything. The trailer looked like it could go either way. While I have seen better baseball comedies before.... I found I still enjoyed this one quite a bit. Sure it gets a little silly at times. But I found myself laughing at it more then once. They went a bit over the top with the nerds and geeks thing. Over-all it is a fun watch... I can easily see myself watching it again sometime. My Rating: Out of a Possible Five

Cannell (Original Characters By) Rating: Rated R : Crude and Sexual Content, Pervasive Language, Drug Material, Teen Drinking and Some Violence Length: 110 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.40:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Spanish, Commentary Stars:Jonah Hill as Schmidt Channing Tatum as Jenko Brie Larson as Molly Tracey Dave Franco as Eric Molson Rob Riggle as Mr. Walters DeRay Davis as Domingo Plot:Former high school foes turned rookie cop partners can't catch a break – until they're assigned to pose as students and bust a drug ring inside their old alma mater. Living like teenagers again, they slip back into their adolescent selves and risk the case – and their friendship – with hysterically disastrous results! Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and Ice Cube star in this outrageously hilarious action-comedy! Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes My Thoughts: I am a big fan of the TV series 21 Jump Street... It is a show I watched every week with my family when I was a teen. And there really wasn't many shows that the family would watch together. So needles to say the series holds a special place in my heart. So going into this movie... I wasn't expecting much out of it. Matter of fact... I was expecting to hate it. Just going by past experience of other movies based on TV series. I was surprised when I found that I enjoyed this movie. Maybe it is because I had such low expectations. But one thing that definitely helped... they didn't just remake the series with the same characters... it is more like a continuation of the series. Where they are re-opening the Jump Street program. It was cool to see Holly Robinson Peete with a cameo appearance as her 21 Jump Street character... Officer Judy Hoffs. Other old Jump Street characters that made an appearance is Tom Hansen and Doug Penhall... now partners at the DEA. They were under cover and in disguises... but I am almost positive it wasn't Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise reprising their roles. Whoever they were... they were not credited in the credits. Anyway... found it to be a fun movie. It has a few laughs in it. I can easily see myself watching it again. I am surprised to say that I definitely recommend this one. My Rating: Out of a Possible Five

| Posted: | | | | Going by IMDB seems I was wrong... and that it indeed was Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise that made the cameos as their characters in 21 Jump Street. It claims that Richard Greico also reprises his role as Booker... but if so I missed him. | | | Pete |

Video: Widescreen 1.78:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai Stars:George Newbern as Superman / Clark Kent (Voice) Pauley Perrette as Lois Lane (Voice) Robin Atkin Downes as Manchester Black (Voice) Dee Bradley Baker as Atomic Skull (Voice) Ogie Banks as Terrence (Voice) Catero Colbert as Coldcast (Voice) Plot:When catastrophe strikes, Superman once again rushes into action, but this time he gets some unexpected help from a new squad of super heroes calling themselves The Elite. Comprised of four powerful beings and spearheaded by the brash and calculating Manchester Black, this new force brings a raw, no-holds-barred mentality to the battle against evil. With swelling public support of The Elite's vicious methods, the stage is set for a showdown that has Superman feeling outnumbered and outdated. Featuring a stellar voice cast headed by George Newbern, Pauley Perrette and Robin Atkin Downes, this epic DC Comics Premiere Movie adventure explodes with a clash of styles and super powers that begs the question: which will break first – The Man of Steel or his code? Extras:Bonus Trailers Gallery Sneak Peak: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 My Thoughts: I am always happy when I see a new animated superhero movie released. While I enjoyed this one... it isn't one that will rank up there with my favorites. The storyline is good... but not thrilling. I really can't put my finger on it... but there is something about the animation that didn't impress me as much as they usually do. It seems something was just off about it. This isn't a good sign... but the highlight of this film for me was the fact that Lois Lane was voiced by Pauley Perrette who plays my favorite character on NCIS. But even with all this said, I didn't hate this film. I guess I would say just slightly disappointed in it. My Rating: Out of a Possible Five

| Posted: | | | | Title: SupernovaYear: 2005 Director: John Harrison Writer: Steven H. Berman (Writer) Rating: Rated NR : Violence, Profanity Length: 172 Min. Video: Pan & Scan 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: None Stars:Luke Perry (1965) as Dr. Chris Richardson Tia Carrere as Lisa Delgado Peter Fonda as Dr. Austin Shepard Clemency Burton-Hill as Ginny McKillop Emma Samms as Laurie Stephenson Jessica Brooks as Brooke Richardson Plot:An astrophysicist has made a cataclysmic discovery: The sun is set to explode, bringing about the end of civilization. As a team of fellow scientists race against time to stop his predictions of apocalypse from coming true, the world is already becoming a whirling inferno out of control. Extras:Scene Access My Thoughts: Felt like a natural disaster movie this morning. This is in a 4 movie set (2 of which is about 3hrs long) that cost me about $5.00.... which means it is about $1.25 per movie. So at that price I really can't complain too much. Supernova is an almost 3hr TV movie that originally aired on the Hallmark Channel. Not that this is a bad movie... I did enjoy it for what it is. It is just that there was a lot of slow parts. Not surprising with a 3hr movie.... but there is plenty here that could have been taken out to make a more exciting story. I did like the one side storyline that they had going... where we learn earlier on one of the scientist's wife was brutally attacked... the attacker now in jail... but swearing to get revenge. This attacker escapes and comes after the wife and their daughter. The main storyline... while interesting... definitely could have been better. I think it could have had a better conclusion as well as shortened some. But it isn't bad for a lazy day of TV watching... just don't expect too much from it. My Rating: Out of a Possible Five

As she witnesses the sounds of what she believes is another child being murdered she fears it is her own. Reliving the nightmare she recently escaped Anna will need to figure out what's real and what isn't before she loses her sanity and her child. Extras:Scenevalg My Thoughts: Well, let me just start of by saying HOLY SMOKES! It is an Norwegian horror movie. With some big names in the leads. Wich was nice to see, they did a great job IMHO. But the movie itself was kinda weird, and a very different movie. You gotta keep paying attention trough out the whole movie, or you will miss something vital. A movie with a lot of twists that i never saw coming. (And even though i like different movies, this was a bit too weird for me) It was a interesting story, and the actors did a good job i think. But how the movie played out, and how the whole thing ended. I have more quastions then answers really. Didnt get much of it. But for the scandies out there, if you think the trailer looked interesting, and you like a bit weird or out there movies. Check it out. My Rating: 3/6 |

Extras:Scenevalg Feature Trailers Dokumentar Gallery Production Notes Interviews My Thoughts: I loved alot about this movie, and how they made the booklet edition. Loved the booklet, just awesome imo! I like how they have done that with few of their movies. Nice touch. And for the movie, i've heard alot of great things about it. And first of all, the picture quality and the sound quality was just great. Great job getting it over to the blu-ray. And the movie itself was great too, a different kind of mobster\gangster movie i would say. A movie that i really enjoyed from the start to the finish, love how they did things with it. And the actors did a great job in the movie too! And i actually loved how they ended the movie. Just great. All in all, a movie everyone should watch! And if your in to HD\Blu-Ray, you should watch in HD. A masterpiece. My Rating: 5/6 |

Was cool to see RR and DW play against each other. A very good movie i think, a typical movie about politics and CIA etc. The movie reminded me alot about the Jason Bourne series. But the movie had my attention trough out the whole thing. Wich is always a good thing. And i think both RR and DW did a good job in the movie. The story though isnt something original, something that have been shown alot before. But a good movie, that i would recommand, and that kept me entertaint trough out. My Rating: 5/6 |

Extras:Scenevalg Interviews My Thoughts: Well, its not much to say about Rambo really, that hasnt been said before. Everyone have seen and heard about Rambo! But it was yeeears ago since i last watched the Rambo series. And i enjoyed this one very well. It was cool to see the transfer to Blu-Ray, i think they did a good job with it tho. The sound and picture qualtiy was ok. Wasnt the best transfer i've seen, but atleast not the worst. I was kinda suprised. And for the movie itself, i enjoyed it a great deal. Didnt remember much of it (witch was a good thing) And allright story behind it. And it had me glued to the tv. A movie that people who are in to HD\BR should rewatch in HD. Video: Widescreen :1 Audio: Subtitles: Stars:Sean Hayes Will Sasso Chris Diamantopoulos Jane Lynch Sofia Vergara Jennifer Hudson Plot:Calling all knuckleheads! From the fiercely funny Farrelly Brothers (There's Something About Mary) comes this contemporary take on the world's most beloved classic comedy trio... The Three Stooges! Left on the doorstep of a nun-conventional orphanage as toddlers, Moe, Larry, and Curly grow up eye-poking, face-slapping and head-clunking their way into adulthood. Now the bumbling trio — pure of heart, but dim of wit — find themselves on a madcap mission to save their childhood home from foreclosure. Can the Stooges survive the modern world, raise the money, and ultimately save the day? Why soitenly! Extras:Scene Access Digital Copy My Thoughts: Sat down to watch with wife and kids, not knowing what to expect. With almost non-existent plot line, and plenty of stick, I laughed almost from beginning to end. Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos really pull it off. If and when you watch this movie, sit back and enjoy the humor and the movie for what it is.....funny. (my wife, who usually doesn't enjoy these types of movies thought it was funny) My Score:4/5 |

Tiden jobber mot Varg, som må bevise hvem som står bak ringen før flere unge jenters liv går tapt Extras:Scenevalg My Thoughts: I just watched this last night, before i went to bed. So did have any time to write a review yesterday. But for me Varg Veum is prolly my favourite Norwegian filmseries by all times. And this one didnt dissapoint either, even the story was something that have been used before. But it was nice to see some of the big actors in Norway in this movie. Did a good job imo. And the filmseries is going to an end, i think this is one of the last movies in the series. So for me this a job very well done. Rambo launches a rescue mission, allies himself with the Mujahedeen rebels and gets their help in trying to save Trautman from Zaysen. Extras:Scenevalg Interviews My Thoughts: This movie i rememberd i've seen before. But along time ago (and not on blu-ray) so they did a great job on this one aswell, to transfer it over to blu-ray. I saw a big difference anyways. When it comes to the movie itself i liked this one too. A bit different story this time around, not the "usual" Rambo plot\storyline IMO. But it worked. It still had me glued to the tv trough out the movie. A movie i would recommand aswell as the other Rambo movies. Now i just got the last one to watch, hopefully tomorrow perheps. That one i havent seen yet, so i'm real interested to see what they do with that one. And for you guys that are thinking about if you should get the Rambo series on blu-ray. Video: Widescreen 2.40:1 Audio: Engelsk: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Engelsk: DTS-HD Master Audio: 5.1 Subtitles: Finsk, Norsk, Svensk Stars:Sylvester Stallone (1946) Julie Benz Matthew Marsden Graham McTavish Rey Gallegos Jake La Botz Plot:Vietnam veteran John Rambo has survived many harrowing ordeals in his lifetime and has since withdrawn into a simple and secluded existence in Thailand, where he spends his time capturing snakes for local entertainers, and chauffeuring locals in his old PT boat. Even though he is looking to avoid trouble, trouble has a way of finding him: a group of Christian human rights missionaries, led by Michael Burnett and Sarah Miller, approach Rambo with the desire to rent his boat to travel up the river to Burma. For over fifty years, Burma has been a war zone. The Karen people of the region, who consist of peasants and farmers, have endured brutally oppressive rule from the murderous Burmese military and have been struggling for survival every single day. After some inner contemplation, Rambo accepts the offer and takes Michael, Sarah, and the rest of the missionaries up the river. When the missionaries finally arrive at the Karen village.. Extras:Scenevalg Dokumentar My Thoughts: Well, i got a few things to say about this movie. First of all i was very interested to see how they pulled it off, since it was about 20 years since the last Rambo movie was made. And ofc Rambo is alot older, and you can see that on him. He isnt the Rambo he once was. It was a good movie, dont get me wrong, but for me the movie was a bit slow at times, and i didnt have the "Rambo feeling" about the movie everywhere. And the plot\story was interesting aswell. But they could have done a bit more i think. But still a good movie. I checked on IMDB, and from the looks of it, it might be a Rambo 5! I dont know what i think about that tho. But this one was good after all this year after all. And its kinda a must watch if you have first the 3 first Rambo movies. My Rating: 4/6 |

But for me it was a bit weird movie, a good mix between comedy and action. And it was nice to see 'all' those big names together, and the story was ok aswell. But with those names in the movie, i think they could have done alot better. But all in all, an ok movie. But i thought they would do alot more with it. My Rating: 3/6 |
