| Posted: | | | | OK, now I'm feeling like a complete idiot, but...how do I install this? I have the downloaded file, and I've extracted the folder from the ZIP, but I can't figure out how to install it. And nothing in the DVD Profiler program help or that I can find with Google can explain it to me. |

That just seems to run this as a separate program. Isn't it a plugin that operates from within DVD Profiler? |

| Posted: | | | | If I start the Program, the Main Page where normally the IMDB Homepage appears remains empthy. And any Search gives no Answer at all. ps. your newest Version 2.1.9.3 just crashes with 0x80070002. If I look into the Directory of your newer Versions, there are a lot of less dll's than in the old Version. |

What Windows version are you using? Where exactly do you extract the archive to (which path) Quote:

| Posted: | | | | Hi Karsten I'm having some problems with the latest 2.1.9.5 version. When I start the program, nothing happens. I see no program/gui at all... I can see the exe-file is running in task manager. Only way to start the program for me is to run it with the /forceoldbrowser parameter. Then it starts properly and works. I'm running Windows 10 (21H2) 64-bit with latest patches. Note: I have no legacy Internet Explorer (uninstalled via windows features in control panel). The only two browsers I have are the new Edge (chromium-based) and Google Chrome. All the previous CastCrewEdit2 versions worked fine up til and including 2.1.5.8. In the versions after that, 2.1.9x series, I've had problems like the posters above with missing/non-functional search, but 2.1.9.5 is the only version where the program window never appears at all. |

Your comment would have been more helpful if you gave some environment or configuration information that could be compared to the poster who is having problems. How is your installation the same or different? (Edit: Oh, I do see some config info a couple of posts back.) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
