I had the same problem on the machine where the software is installed, but when I tried it here at the office a short while ago, I got the new version. I would suggest delete all old download files and also delete the folder that it unzips to first, then download again. Maybe that will work? I suspect it may be a proxy problem. Because every release has the same name (DVDProInstall.zip), it can cause issues. I would suggest a better format is to create a name for each release that incorporates the version number to avoid this problem. |

That's what I did and everything's ok. But as always ensure you backup the database first. Just in case. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Does look like a proxy issue. Downloading from another network gets the right version. People on the same network as my home PC get the old version, regardless of having downloaded a previous version or not.
As mentioned before, and new naming convention would solve these problems. |

You have to exit the lookup screen and go back in. It's not the end of the world but it's also annoying. This Barcode scanner that you are talking about. Is it in version 3.1.0, because I don't see one? |
