Mark, this is a minor bug I just noticed. I wanted to recommend to Strohmann to use the ProfileID instead as this is normally the UPC + locality info. But it seems that you output here the UPC. | | |

I'm not sure what's going on since I pull that data out and don't modify it at all. I'll look into it. I need to update things anyway for 3.1, so it shouldn't be a problem. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Mark, I noticed today that something weird is happening with Titles that contain double-quotes. It seems that the first double-quote is moved to the end of the Title...
As a result I had, e.g.: Frank Capra's Arsenic and Old Lace"" Brazil: The Love Conquers All" Version" | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

If it's still happening, and you're using version 1.1, let me know and I'll look into it. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. When did that happen? Totally missed the release of 1.1, apparently. Pardon me for that, I'll update now. If I should encounter this again, I'll lwet you know. Just never got around around installing it. (Normally I always install such things immediately ) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | That's a very generic error and there's no way to really even guess at what might be happening. I'd suggesting un-installing and re-installing the plugin. If that fails, you could try an un-install/re-install of DVD Profiler (after making a proper backup of course). | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | Nice plug in, thanks - gave me some ideas... (goes away with paper and pencil)
Is there any chance of getting the Notes field in here please?
Also, whilst playing around I noticed that it's not exporting titles that do not have discs associated with them. I didn't exhaustively test this, but I noticed that The Blues Brothers/Blues Brothers 2000 double-pack (and the Hot Shots/Hot Shots Part Deux) double pack(s) were not exporting. Double clicked on the titles in DVDP, selected the Discs tab and added a disc for each feature. Re-exported and they were there.
However, this may be how it is supposed to function, and the situation lies with the completeness of the data - in which case, ignore me! |

I'm surprised that they're not there already. Quote: Also, whilst playing around I noticed that it's not exporting titles that do not have discs associated with them. I didn't exhaustively test this... I think you should do more testing. I've never seen this before and there's no reason it wouldn't export a profile that doesn't have discs associated with them. It's possible there's a bug I'm not aware of but I've never seen it before. If you can find a reliable way to re-create the problem, I'd be happy to look into it. But I export all the time and I'm sure I would have noticed it before now. Although I typically only export about 6-7 fields, none of which have anything to do with disc IDs. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Just FYI, I have hit this problem with my plugins. Profiles often come from the online database with no discs defined. When you make API calls to get by discid, some of the disc related fields such as slot and location are not instantiated. I have had to trap the exceptions and build a null field manually. Is the same thing possibly happening here? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |
