And I am sure that I have checked nothing that prevents the pictures from being transferred!
Thanks, Tom Tom, Just for yucks, double check to be sure the option"Copy database to device" AND Synchronize covers are checked. With those two checked, you should be able to send all you DVD/blu data and coverscan thumbs to your phone. Dave |

| Posted: | | | | I got the same problems with a samsung galaxy s2 (GT-I9100) with stock ROM. I can connect the device via usb to my windows 7 pc and it is recognized so that i can use it as a removable device.
When i use the export plugin with adb it cant find the phone. if i use the "use removable disc and navigate to the phone and correct storage i get errors while exporting (Error: Ein Teil des Pfades: C:\Users\xxx\Appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary internet files\content\...\xxx.jpg konnte nicht gefunden werden) |

As I seem not to be the only one plagued by this problem, I would like to show you what my problem actually is (where… the longer I think about it, the more I think that there is no real problem at all, except that my mobile device is not recognised), but it may clear up some things: 1.) When I chose the option „No device (manual copy)“, then both options „Copy Database to Device“ as well as „Synchronize Covers“ are greyed out and thus are not active as you can see from this screenshot 2.) Second try, this time using the option „Use Removable Disk“ with the phone connected to the PC WITHOUT using the USB-connection procedure, just plugged it on: if I here try to navigate to my mobile phone’s „droid_dvdp“ folder, which in my case is: Computer\GT-N7000\Phone\droid_dvdp as you can see here: then this path is apparently not accepted but (automatically?) changed to something like the following path (where the last part of the path is variable): C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\YTCGOFV3 which you can see here: If I accept and try to export to this strange path, I get the same error messages which F1Database has reported 3 posts earlier: 3.) If I use the option „Use Removable Disk“ with the phone connected to the PC via the USB-connection procedure (but with USB-Debugging OFF (I cannot connect my PHONE with USB-Debugging ON, on the TABLET it is possible!), then it seems to work (including pictures) So it seems for me that I have to use the 3rd way or export to a local disk first (be it removable or not) and then to copy the whole thing manually to my mobile device(s). | | | Last edited: by T0M |

The normal copy-job stops at about 30 minutes and cant continue and i cant find a programm that can sync a phone and a local directory on a windows pc. Servus, I think I have meanwhile found out what causes this problem (see also my previous post): I don't know if you (can) connect your phone to the PC via USB-connection with USB-Debugging ON or OFF? In my case it all works fine with USB-Debugging OFF. If you have checked both “Copy Database to Device” AND “Synchronize Covers”, Then all should be okay. The problem you described with this funny “(Error: Ein Teil des Pfades: C:\Users\xxx\Appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary internet files\content\...\xxx.jpg konnte nicht gefunden werden)“, then this may be because in the target device you MUST have the following: 1.) The folder “droid_dvdp” (this is the folder where the “droid_dvdp_is_here”-file MUST be present 2.) This folder MUST have 3 subfolders: a) “cache” b) “database” c) “images” (this folder MUST have another subfolder “thumbnails” I tried to export my database to a local harddisk but I only had the folder “droid_dvdp” without the subfolders and the export failed. As soon as I created the 3 sub(sub)-folders, the export worked fine. As far as syncing the images to your phone, that is easy: you have the folder “images” and its subfolder “thumbnails” on your PC in the same place where your DVD-Profiler is located. Just take the folder “images” (including the subfolder “thumbnails) and copy it to the folder “droid_dvdp” on your mobile phone. That’s all. If you do like me, you don’t always have to copy the whole folder(s), since if you sort your pictures on your PC by “Änderungsdatum” (Date last changed), then you just take the pictures from the DCD’s/BD’s you have added since the last update (you must copy the pictures from both folders, “images” as well as its subfolder “thumbnails”. 30 minutes for a simple copy-job like this one??? I don't know what causes this, but there must be something else wrong, because this is a matter of 1-2 minutes maximum!!! | | | Last edited: by T0M |

About the 30 minutes. You can copy over 8000 files in 1-2 minutes? The database is about 20 MB and is not the problem. But the amount of images are. |

About the 30 minutes. You can copy over 8000 files in 1-2 minutes? The database is about 20 MB and is not the problem. But the amount of images are. Well, I don't know... The bad news is, that I was totally mistaken with the 1-2 minutes! I tried and deleted the thumbnail-folder from my phone and then copied it back from the PC, using the Windows Explorer. That seems to take forever and a day!!! I just could not wait so long (or did not want), so I interrupted the whole process. I have 700 DVD's/BD's, so I have 1400 images and 1400 thumbnails = 2800 images. The whole thing is 157 MB (the whole "droid_dvdp"-folder). So I apologise for the 1-2 minutes mistake! Sorry! THE GOOD NEWS IS: there is a quicker way! It is a PC-programme called "FreeFileSync". You can find it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/freefilesync/ I have deleted the whole content of the "droid_dvdp"-folder from my phone and just left the naked empty folder on the phone. Then with FreeFileSync (and the phone connected via USB), I compared the content of my "droid_dvdp"-folder on my PC to the same (empty) folder on the phone. Then with this tool you can say: If something (file OR Folder) exists on the PC only, copy it to the phone. This I did and - believe it or not - the whole 152MB have been copied to the phone in 1 minute and 44 seconds!!! I think that should do the job also for your database!? And btw: This tool is also great to make BackUps of your PC-Data to another (external) harddisk! I do it every day with this tool! But thank you very much for your question, by this I have learned something again! And I hope the tool helps solving your problem!? Tschüs, Thomas |

| Posted: | | | | Just an update, Oliver sent me a beta to test on my Asus FT101, and I go to install and the silly thing is dead ( battery ) Go grab the charger and I cant find the silly thing any where, and teh wonder of that is the Asus uses a 15v 2.1A deal so it isnt just a simple plug it in to the wall adapter for the phone kinda deal. So I am waiting on a package from Amazon with a new charger. Sorry for the delay in testing on my end. -R |

| Posted: | | | | Google Nexus 7 here and I have read all the posts but had to use the manual way to get the db and images to the Nexus and there it works fine. Could do with bigger images and bigger font but that's just details. Great work! The Nexus shows up as a media device both with USB debuggin on or off even if I have a drive letter in both cases. Trying to use to external storage I get the same bogus part to temp files as everyone else.
Hopefully this will be resolved and if you need help with any testing just contact me.
