Mark, I used to use on a DVD Profiler install on my old laptop and LOVE it.  I just installed the plugin on a new machine, though, and I'm getting this error in a dialogue box.  Thoughts or suggestions?

Quote:
Could not load file or assembly 'System, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies.  The system cannot find the file specified

I can click the error away and the plugin shows up, but it pretty much stalls the program and I have to kill the whole thing and relaunch.
...

Same here. (re)Installing .NET 2.x doesn't solve the issue. Could it be a 32/64 bit issue? It runs fine on my older 32 bit Windows XP with 3.8.1, but still fails on my 64 bit Windows 7 machine.

I'll test the next version on Win 7 / 64-bit to make sure it works.  Shouldn't be an issue.

Fails also on my Win 7 / 32-bit, so I doubt this is the problem...

It could also be that the plugin is for version 3.7, not 3.8.

I was perhaps a bit late signaling it didn't work on my main PC, but it also refused to work on version 3.7.

Before that I hadn't used it for quite a while, it had worked as intended in the past. But it may well be that it worked when my machine was still running on Vista. I'm not sure.

Don't worry, the plugin works fine on my 64-bit win 7 machine with 3.8. So it is not a general incompatibility, it must be something on those machines. eommen, did you by any chance install it under  a different user account?

Oh, just noticed, you say .NET 2.x. The error message relates to .NET 4.x so please make sure that is installed correctly.

Yes, I have my laptop.  Have the projects setup.  And I have a 1 1/2 week road trip coming up in a couple weeks.  So I'll have lots of time to play with things (sharing the driving with 2 others on the way down and 6 others on the way back).
