| Posted: | | | | You highlight the word cast within the displayed page. The word crew would be interesting too.
... and, I for myself use the word credits as synonym for cast/crew... | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

Unfortunately the browser component only allows one search string at a time, so I chose "cast" as the one that I thought was the most likely to find the data of interest. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | "I'll just fix one last thing. It's such a small thing that surely it can't cause any problems. No need to go through a full test, just a few profiles."All right, I'll sit in the shame corner. I should have known better! Anyway, version 2.1.1 is tested a bit better, so I do hope I haven't screwed up anything else. Just be aware of the limitation in the "sloppy copy" (as it is called in the help file). If you happen to copy exactly 16 characters that are not a Disc Id, ContribLookup will think that it is just that, a Disc Id. Edit: Yeah! I did screw up something else - the download link in this post. But maybe you realized that it's the same link as in the previous posts. I just put it in for every version just for convenience. And look how well that worked! Anyway, fixed now! Best I go to bed now before I manage to f*ck up even more! | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |

| Posted: | | | | ContribLookup 2.2.0 New features: - Improved scan algorithm for faster scan of all localities. - A new menu item in the Browser menu: Show Only Checked Items. - A count of checked items shown at the bottom of the list in the Browser tab. - A gridsplitter between the list and the browser that lets you resize them. The improved algorithm divides the localities in 3 groups, North America, Europe and the rest or the world. It scans the groups in that order, and if a match (or matches) is found in a group the scan stops there. I guess it is technically possible, but highly unlikely, that the same ID exists in different "continents", but it's a limitation I am willing to live with with. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Getting a UPC/EAN takes many mouse clicks/Keystrokes. Copying a DVD from DVD profiler is done with two clicks.
It would be great, if the program would detect a complete DVD (CSV) in the clipboard and extract the UPC/EAN... | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

| Posted: | | | | Not sure if I understand what you mean. If it is DVD/Copy from the menu in Profiler, then that really doesn't yield any useful information on the clipboard.
If you want to get the contribution notes for a specific profile in your collection, you can either right-click the View Contributors button, or if you want it opened in ContribLookup use Alt-DU,Ctrl-C and switch to ContribLookup.
That doesn't work with the German translation, unfortunately, because the translator hasn't implemented any keyboard shortcuts, so if you're using that you would have to select DVD/Change UPC with the mouse, then copy the ID and switch to ContribLookup.
You can copy a UPC/EAN/DiscId from anywhere and switch to ContribLookup. If it's a valid ID it should get pasted inte the search field automatically. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry, my bad. Thought DVDProfiler puts the data into the clipboard (as seen with cast and crew data). But realized, that it only puts a pointer into the clipboard. | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |

| Posted: | | | | ContribLookup 2.3.0I thought I had the Intervocative lookup working because I actually found a couple of profiles, but it turned out to be a mistake. So I have corrected that, and now it really works. I have also added a filter to the Browser list, so you can filter on title name if you're looking for a certain title in a long list. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | ContribLookup 2.5This is kind of a "trifecta" update in as much as there are three programs that have something in common that are being updated. These are DvdpVerify, CastCrewCheck and ContribLookup. When you use ContribLookup together with DvdpVerify 3.0, ContribLookup will automatically load the contribution notes when a profile is selected in DvdpVerify, so it will always display the relevant contribution notes. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | ContribLookup 2.5.1Oopsi! I had a button that allowed you to load the contibution notes for the currently selected profile in DVD Profiler, even if you were not currently running DvdpVerified. That button was mistakenly removed. Sorry about that. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
