I'm not sure I understand your question on router allowing connection types. Can you expound on this?
I can connect to the PC with DVD Profiler on it with my iPad , I can remote into that PC . Does that help? |

Yupp, it means we can exclude "general connection problems" from the list. Sadly this leaves me clueless about this specific problem. Do you have "Password required" enabled in the "Sharing Options" of DVDProfiler PC (Tools -> Options -> Sharing)? If so, what happens if you unflag this? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Depending on what software you're using to remote into your PC, it may not be making a direct connection to your PC.
If you open safari and visit the url "192.168.199.105:32487" and it shows a connection error, then the connection is being blocked. Either:
- the IP address/port is incorrect - or you're on a different wifi network - or a software firewall is blocking the connection - or the wifi router is blocking the direct connection.
To address the router blocking issue, visit your router' setup page in your browser and look for a setting that keeps wired and wifi networks separate, and disable it. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |
