| Posted: | | | | I setup my iPhone as a new install and restored the iPad from backup.
Not sure I've sync'd with the iPad yet. But sync'ing with the iPhone worked as expected. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | I just purchased the app yesterday for my iphone after I upgraded to IOS8. It does not allow me to change the date purchase. A blank screen appears. I also get a blank screen when I click on the icons at the top of the app. In addition, I have to close out of the app completely to get off of the screen. I was so excited to use DVD profiler, I guess I should have waited on updating to IOS8. |

| Posted: | | | | Problems with DVD Profiler on iPad and iOS 8 as well I am syncing via the Desktop Program. iOS app quits immediately after startup. Reinstall and resyc of Database doesn't help. Edit: All versions of desktop and iOS app are the most recent versions. Edit 2: shutdown occurs when I try to switch between "owned" and "ordered" segments in the iOS app. | | | Last edited: by OnkelC |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Ken
Will you also fix the bug I reported about two years ago in the iPad? When you have on top the covers to scroll through and you change f.e. from owned into ordered the covers do not refresh, you are then in the other group, but still have the covers from the previous group. I must then everytime turn the iPad 90 degrees forward and back and then I have the covers from the actual group. Seems to be a little refresh problem.
I also hope you will do the fix for the different screen sizes. I will have the big iPhone and hope that it is not only scaled up but uses the right format to show it nicely, thanks :-).
Thanks,

| Posted: | | | | Trying to sort collection list, change list display views or fill in Last Watched date brings up a blank scroll list at the bottom which can't be closed and freezes the app.
I hope you can fix the Last Watched being 1 day off glitch in this release too. | | | Last edited: by Doombear |

But I would also say, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. The bigger phones have only been available for 4 days. I'm thinking Ken would have had a hard time getting a new interface put together and tested without a real device to test on. Obviously I don't speak for Invelos, but if I had to guess, I would expect the update that's on the way to only address bugs related to iOS 8. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | Apple has help for the programmers doing apps the way, that for every size of the screen it fits and looks nice. They encourage the developers to change there apps and make use of this. Think Ken will surely do this. I will have the iPhone 6+ in some days to test it then :-). | | | * 3D TV Panasonic TX-P65VT30J + Blu-ray Player Panasonic DMP-BDT500 My Filmcollection online: www.filmkino.ch * |

| Posted: | | | | I think the lack of actual devices is compensated by the programming software on the Mac? It virtualizes the device screen on the desktop, so that the programmer a) can see what it will look like and b) doesn't have to upload his/her program to the device repeatedly...?
Other than that, I agree a) Ken said it's a bug fix release, so I am just expecting that and b) iOS supposedly does some of the stretching built-in, it's only up to the developers to make use of the additional space in a more inventive way.
As long as the "bug" where watched events don't record the time, only the date, is squashed, I will be so happy.
I already ordered my iPhone 6 as well. I would stick to my 4S, but that battery is really done for. ("I still show 20% power, but let me shut down anyway. Oh you plugged in? See, fooled you, I still have 60% power." and the sorts.) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

If you weren't aware, I wouldn't call not being able to move a Blu-ray from ordered to owned functional. Hope for a fix soon. |

Absolutely true. There is a simulator that can be used. As I'm just starting iOS stuff myself, I don't understand the pros & cons of that tool. I'm just saying that perhaps he wanted to see it in person before submitting? That's just a guess. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | The simulator only supports public devices - they don't want to give away any secrets ahead of the announcement! So, the simulator was updated with iPhone 6/6+ last week. That said, we prefer testing on physical devices. I have been testing it on the 6+ since Friday, and the 6 since Monday. We did make the mistake of upgrading our last iOS 6 device to iOS 7 and so had to purchase a used 3gs to finalize testing. It's in house and participating in the testing. Slowly. Very slowly. This release will not have 6/6+ specific interfaces, but we are ensuring that everything looks good on them. The plan is to submit to Apple tomorrow. Apple has added some new app rules/requirements for the approval process. We believe we're ready for them, but we'll see. Quote: I would stick to my 4S, but that battery is really done for. ("I still show 20% power, but let me shut down anyway. Oh you plugged in? See, fooled you, I still have 60% power." and the sorts.) Replacing the battery on a 4S is actually really easy. The screen? Not so much. I don't think you'll regret the 6 though. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |
