| Posted: | | | | Quoting Kulju: Quote: Am I the only one who's disappointed? Rules were never the problem. Problem is that users doesn't see that Invelos is actually implementing the actions that are mentioned in rules. Can we now on see who is banned and why? I see the rules update only as a way to make it look like Invelos is doing something when in fact nothing has been done. Just look at a couple of the posts in the contribution forum...one of them has the following from a mod... "Forum Moderator: Removed This post was likely typed before the prior post was posted so will avoid admin action other than the removal." That seems fairly transparent to me. Whether we see an actual ban notice remains to be seen. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Just about every forum I've used over the years indicated if a user was permanently banned. I don't recall seeing temp bans being indicated.
However, I think they should all be shown. If you don't do anything wrong and follow the updated rules, you'll have nothing to worry about. If you can't/won't follow them, why should you be allowed to hide? |

Forum Moderator: Yes, you are. A moderator with a sense of humour - who knew? Now I'm actually looking forward to see how they will cope with the new rules in the contribution discussions forum - I've seen more than one discussion in there that I would classify as religious.... | | | The future is here. | Posted: | | | | 'Kay... that was actually pretty funny. If the rules are enforced unbiasedly and fairly, I'm all for it. If members that don't particularly deserve to be banned for responding in anger to being picked on continue to get banned while more notorious offenders slip by scott free... that'll be a different story... | | | The night is calling. | Posted: | | | | I see users seem to believe that things are handled unfairly, from my viewpoint I can't and won't make that determination. I don't know what anybody has a basis for even making such a ridiculous claim, except that they seem to believe that they should be privy to things that they should not be privy too. This not the coliseum and we aren't the Christians vs. the Lions. I assume that Ken is acting fairly and i have seen no evidence that he is not.

Skip Several users have said that they don't want to participate here any more for whatever reason. If proper moderation had taken place, in a number of cases, the users concerned probably wouldn't have seen whatever caused them to feel that way. So while yes, it is based on perception, it's also based on events that have occurred, ie Ken saying that he would like moderation to be done quicker. |
