Second that, this would knock Delicious Library (which I run in Parallel with DVD Profiler so I can access my collection from any machine at home) well into touch. Doesn't look like it's written in .NET (unlike the web site and the mobile version), so might run under WINE without errors. Still, a nice Obj-C port would go down a treat |

| Posted: | | | | Gentlemen:
Don't hold your breath. You bought a Mac, software has always been problematic for Mac and will continue to be so. That said however, here is the OFFICIAL word from the Invelos FAQ's HAD you bothered to look.
"Answer: With apologies to our Mac fans, at this time there is no Macintosh version, and no firm plans to create a Mac version. Although we cannot provide support for this solution, many users successfully run DVD Profiler under Virtual PC on their Mac."

| Posted: | | | | Why are old profile not on-line and my key is not working on the new software. I could not log into the site without setting up a new account. So, at this point it looks like the changes suck. I would like to see a email address or phone number on the page to get this type of issue fixed. |

| Posted: | | | | Gee, sorry to have bothered you Skip. Software is not "problematic" for Macs, it's usually that the developers don't choose to make programs for Macs because they are unfamiliar with them, or have a lack of interest. Macs arn't inherently "problematic". And yes, I choose to buy a Mac, and as I said this is the ONLY program that I have yet to find either a Mac version or a suitable replacement. Get out of the '90's man. |

Yes by all means ignore Hal. I poke fun at Mac users and have for years, some of them actually poke fun back. But checking the FAQs would have answered yur question right away.

Skip Yes, but reading the FAQs does nothing to show interest in a Mac version for the devolper to see. Sometimes seeing enough interest in a Mac version will get the ball rolling. |

| Posted: | | | | I am strongly considering to buy a MacBook shortly, to be used parallel to my PC. While, for my purposes, it won't be necessary to to have DVD Profiler on it, I will certainly try... It has previously been reported, that Wine doesn't work (yet). But I found " Crossover", which I would give a try. It would need to be purchased, but if it makes DVD Profiler work, I wouldn't mind. The advantage in gerneral appears to be, that no Windows license is required, which most other solution (Dual Boot, Virtual PC) would. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. And yes, I choose to buy a Mac, and as I said this is the ONLY program that I have yet to find either a Mac version or a suitable replacement. Get out of the '90's man. A lack of software makes them problematic. Developers don't develop because Macs hold too small a market share to matter to their bottom line. Even Adobe jumped ship. If you've found only this program or its equivalent lacking, you haven't looked for many programs. | | | Prince Charming: You! You can't lie! Where is Shrek? Pinocchio: I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that I undeniably do or do not know where he shouldn't probably be. If that indeed wasn't where he isn't! |

You'll quickly get to know Gerri, my better half, as she helps me moderate the forums and answer support tickets. So where have you been regarding this crippling error? We need to hear from you... Anything is better than nothing! Yes, I know this isn't the proper "chain of command". But after reading that no one seemed to get a response on their tickets regarding this problem. I felt I needed to try something else to get a reaction. |
