| Posted: | | | | Just got mine this weekend. A Toshiba 61' DLP using LED's for light source instead of a lamp - so no color wheel and no bulb to replace down the road. |

How is the off-angle viewing? I have a 42" Plasma 720p and a 100" projected from an Optoma 720p projector. Yes, I'm in 720p world, but the equipment is less than a year old...too soon to upgrade. |

I have a 42" Plasma 720p and a 100" projected from an Optoma 720p projector. Yes, I'm in 720p world, but the equipment is less than a year old...too soon to upgrade. 61 feet would be pretty amazing. Doh! The off-angle viewing is actual very good. The picture wasn't as nice as it could be right out of the box though - I had to spend quite a while tinkering with the menu's when I first set it up. For this particular set, the one negative I've got to point out is that there's no direct source selection buttons on the set or the remote. You always have to bring up the menu before you can scroll to whatever source you're changing to. Other than that, I'm very happy with it. |

| Posted: | | | | Don't own one, don't know when I'll ever own one. As far as I'm concerned, anything less than 42 inches would just be wasting my money and I can't afford anything larger. Nothing against smaller HD displays, I just don't see an appreciable difference until you get into the larger displays. I suppose it's a benefit of my eyes starting to wear out. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm a new member to the hi def TV club. I received a 47" Toshiba LCD last weekend. I also added a nice Oppo dvd player to go with it. My movies are looking much better these days. My PAL dvds look MUCH nicer with this set up. With my olld TV/DVD combo almost all of my PAL dvds had this shimmering quality to the picture. It used to drive me a little crazy watching them. That seems to be gone now. |

I saw how those were made...pretty cool...looked like that would have been thought of years ago. | | | Attracted to "svelte buoyant waterfowl". |

| Posted: | | | | I have 3. 61" 1080P DLP Microdisplay in the living room, 42" 1080P LCD in the bedroom, and 1365 x 1024 1080i D-ILA projector in the home theater. When the bulb blows in the D-ILA projector, I'm going to pickup one of the new 1080P front projectors. | | | My Home Theater |
