Just imagine the number of tools/add ons which were (maybe only) created as there is no more update/modification of the program. I'd appreciate that without a further addon or tool. It's part of the software and could be implemented so easy

I don't want another plugin/app.
Well I will not allow myself to be discouraged by that. And it is not in my nature to be anything but supportive of your efforts, so please continue.
But, as we all know, but for the record: (note the term "you" is meant "a person")
- The license to DVD Profiler requires nothing of the user - not even to use the program. Nobody is required to contribute, write plugins, make forum posts, or anything else
- The license to DVD Profiler also promises nothing. You are not guaranteed updates, a forum, support, or anything else.
However,
- If a person wants to contribute profiles, layouts, reports, etc, there are rules
- If a person wants to write plugins, there are rules (and in my case, actually a contract that I signed)
- If a person wants to export XML, there is an agreement you must honor
- If a person wants to make forum posts, there are guidelines for behavior and respect
But it is a user-supported environment after all. People are encouraged to participate, to contribute, to help with technical issues, write tools and reports and layouts and HTML sections, for the benefit of the community. And, let's face it - without user contributions of profile metadata, the whole system comes crashing down.
Some people like myself, who don't do contributions, but highly appreciate them, look for other ways to contribute to the community - technical support, tools, feedback and general conversation.
Nobody is required to take advantage of any other user's intended contributions. But if you can't give encouragement to others, then perhaps you should stop expecting encouragement for your efforts. When you complain, people naturally come forward to help. If you don't want help from the community, then why do you complain? You can't have it both ways.
