| Posted: | | | | Now, 800 movies (8000 images) are on the new site. About 50% of the old site has already been transfered (including all Doombears' contributions which were transfered by himself). | | | Images from movies |

| Posted: | | | | The site looks good. But i have a question. How can I download the images from one movie at once? Or is it only possible one after another? Sorry, if my english is not the best |

| Posted: | | | | The old site has been transfered to the new site. Today, this new site has 1608 movies with each 10 screencaps.Incomplete galleries (movies with less than 10 screencaps) are on a specific page, and will be transfered to the main site only when completed to 10 images. The address is the same than before (see in my signature) (think to refresh browser if the main page is in cache on your computer). | | | Images from movies |

Sorry, if my english is not the best Answer by PM. Good question, but why only answered in private? Actually, that's the one and only thing that's really annoying about the new site: you have to open every single picture link, then right-click the image and give it a meaningful name. Since the filenames contain a random alphanumerical string, you can't use a download manager anymore... If I remember correctly, I've seen the Piwigo gallery with some kind of download cart system. While browsing the collection you can add pictures and whole collections to the cart and then finally download them all together. | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

In fact, I answered by Pm because a problem of understanding (I thought captkorken wanted to upload images). For downloading images in one operation, I have not found the way to do that. In fact, it seems that Piwigo works in two modes : physical files (via FTP) that allow each visitor to add images to existing folders (a visitor could add new screencaps to existing "King Kong" folder), and download images in one operation. The problem is that a new movie will have to become a new folder, so cannot be added without creating the folder in which the images go : we have the same problem than with old site. The second mode, that I use, is virtual mode, where everybody, with proper rights, can create easily a new folder to add a new movie, without any tool (FTP) nor special knowledge on how Piwigo works. On this mode, photos have to be downloaded one by one. If anybody knows more about the system (I agree that I'm far to be a specialist in programming (I'm more interested by movies)), I would be happy to add another function. But I shall not spend too much time any more on that : I share my images, and allow other users to do so. It doesn't seem that so many people are interested, the news about the site being completed having had strictly no reaction except your question. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

If I remember correctly, I've seen the Piwigo gallery with some kind of download cart system. While browsing the collection you can add pictures and whole collections to the cart and then finally download them all together. This is what I do. I have Profiler running and the profile I want to add pictures selected. I then open the movie in Surfeur's site, click the first thumbnail, right-click the opened image and select "Copy", then right-click Profiler's Gallery window (the thumbnail part of it) and select "Paste". I then (in Surfeur's site) click the arrow for the next image and repeat the copy and paste procedure for all the remaining pics. I find this very simple and quick. No picture naming or separate savings. With this method the pics are automatically saved to the appropriate folder and 10 pics are given names from "0" to "9". It takes me 1-2 mins to have 10 pics for one movie. Big thanks for Surfeur and everybody else involved in this new site. It's great! | | | Markku |

| Posted: | | | | I think once a bunch of new images appear on the site, there will be more visitors. Most gallery fans have already gotten most of the old site images already. I betcha many DVDP users don't even know the site exists because it is a level down in the General Discussion forum. Perhaps if all extras could be incorporated into the Invelos site "downloads" area as a related link, it might take off more. | | | Last edited: by Doombear |

I added some new movies as Inception, Iron man 2, Robin Hood, Millenium 3, Adèle Blanc-Sec, but they are probably lost inside the big transfer update. After 7 days, transfer will no more be considered as new, and additions will be more "visible". | | | Images from movies |
