Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Gallery Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Not terrible... but at the same time nothing really special here. But then while I did like the cartoon... it was never really a favorite. And this movie felt more like a long episode more-so then a movie. Nothing in the movie really popped to make it feel any more special. But it is entertaining for what it is. While I can see myself watching it again... not one I will watch all that often. One hundred million dollars worth of confiscated heroin has just been jacked from police custody. Once the career bust of Detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), the missing drugs now threaten to shut down the narcotics division of the Miami Police Department. When the drug investigation turns deadly, the murderers kidnap the only witness – a beautiful police informant (Téa Leoni) and close friend of The Boys – and things get personal! Fast cars, a gorgeous woman and non-stop action make BAD BOYS a guaranteed good time! That means the last time I saw this movie it was actually on VHS! So needless to say it was like watching it again for the first time... as I really remembered nothing about the movie going into it this morning. And I must admit... I enjoyed it quite a bit. The bickering back and forth between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence was entertaining. And all the gun fights and explosions was a lot of fun to watch as well. Now I may have to pop in Bad Boys II as I never got the chance to sen that one before. My Rating: 4/5 | | | Pete |

Video: Full Frame 1.33:1 Subtitles: None Stars:Captain America:Reb Brown as Captain America / Steve Rogers Len Birman as Dr. Simon Mills Heather Menzies as Dr. Wendy Day Robin Mattson as Tina Hayden Joseph Ruskin as Rudy Sandrini Captain America II: Death Too Soon:Reb Brown as Captain America / Steve Rogers Connie Sellecca as Dr. Wendy Day Len Birman as Dr. Simon Mills Christopher Lee as Miguel Katherine Justice as Helen Moore Plot:CAPTAIN AMERICAWhen former Marine Steve Rogers is in an accident, his only hope for recovery is an injection of the FLAG superserum – created years ago by his own father – which enhances each of his senses, as well as gives him great strength and fast reflexes. And to help him bring his attackers to justice, a government agency outfits him with a motorcycle and powerful shield, then turns the newly formed Captain America loose on the nation s enemies. CAPTAIN AMERICA II: DEATH TOO SOONCaptain America returns to carry on the legacy of his father and defend the country — this time, however, he faces off against the terrorist known only as Miguel and the threat of a chemical agent that rapidly ages those who come in contact with it. Extras:Bonus Trailers My Thoughts: It has been so long since I watched these TV Movies I just couldn't wait to watch this set. So here is my review. Bring on the nostalgia! Captain America:While I did have a lot of fun watching this movie. I felt it took too long for Steve Rogers to agree to become Captain America... and MUCH too long before we got to see him in the costume. Unfortunately they also modernize the costume as well. In this first movie there is actually two versions of the costume. The first one looked more like something Evel Knievel would wear. The second (at the very end of the movie) was much closer indeed... but still way off from what you see in the comics and animation. Yes this is very cheesy... and a definite sign of the times. Whenever Captain America uses his powers you heard a sound effect to let you know. Very similar to the series of the time... The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. The one thing that was missing is that Captain America never throws his shield at all in this movie. I enjoyed this movie in a nostalgic sort of way. It really brought my back to my childhood. Though I would have liked to have seen more Captain America in it. But I guess that is to be expected for the origin story. Captain America II: Death Too SoonIn the second movie Connie Sellecca takes over one of the main roles playing Dr. Wendy Day... replacing Heather Menzies. They also get Christopher Lee to play the main villain... which is cool. And I enjoyed the storyline quite a bit. And Captain America throws his shield on more then one occasion in this one. Making up for not doing so in the previous movie. I do think, though, that the motorcycle turning into a glider was a bit much... even for me. But that was only one short scene... so didn't take away from the movie much. I have read that these movies was attempts to get a TV Series started. It is a shame that never came to be. I know I would have watched it. The DVD itself leaves quite a bit to be desired. The audio and video are fine. But there is no real extras on the disc what so ever. But either way... it was a lot of fun watching these movies again after a good 30 years! Wow... 30 years! I am starting to feel old! My Rating: 4/5 | | | Pete |

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars:Steve Carell Anne Hathaway Dwayne Johnson Alan Arkin Terence Stamp Terry Crews Plot:Steve Carell is in CONTROL as Maxwell Smart, the novice agent often out of his depth but never out of options in this action comedy pitting him against the nuclear scheme of the evil spy group KAOS. Anne Hathaway partners with Max as ever-capable Agent 99. And director Peter Segal (The Longest Yard) guides his stars (including Dwayne Johnson and Alan Arkin) through dangerous realm of molar radios, multifunction pocketknives, exploding dental floss and more. "Get Smart works as an action film and it's funny." (Richard Roaper, At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper). Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Featurettes Outtakes/Bloopers Digital Copy My Thoughts: Going by what I have always heard about this movie I really wasn't expecting much. But actually enjoyed it. There was a few things I found to be a bit too silly... but over-all I liked what they did here. It really has been a while since I saw the TV Series... so I can't really say how well it portrayed the series... but after watching this movie I feel like getting my hands on at least some of the episodes. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1, Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars:Masi Oka Nate Torrence Jayma Mays Marika Dominczyk J. P. Manoux [J.P. Manoux] Larry Miller Plot:Loved Get Smart? Get more! Get extra spy-spoof hilarity when Get Smart's bungling inventors Bruce (Masi Oka) and Lloyd (Nate Torrence) stumble into their own comedy adventure in a zany story paralleling Get Smart (and including surprise star cameos from that 2008 movie). The R&D smarties are out of the lab and way out of their comfort zones as they scramble to find a nifty new invention they've somehow lost – an invisibility cloak – before KAOS does. Of course, the whole invisibility thing really complicates matters. And learning on the fly how to be a spy is a big-time challenge for our heroes. Would you believe you'll have to watch to discover how they do it? Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Featurettes My Thoughts: This one kinda flew in under the radar for me. I don't even remember hearing of it until I spotted it at Big Lots. I can't say exactly when this one came out... but it seems to be the same year as Get Smart. And it takes place at the same time as that movie does. Though Steve Carell don't appear as Maxwell Smart in this one. When I started this movie I was thinking it would be even funnier then Get Smart but shortly after it started it the laughs slowed down for me. Though I will say I still enjoyed it just as much as the other film. It is a fun companion piece. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed the first one. My Rating: 3.5/5 | | | Pete |

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, Spanish: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: English Stars:Martin Lawrence Marsha Thomason Tom Wilkinson Vincent Regan Daryl Mitchell Michael Countryman Plot:MARTIN LAWRENCE is back... way back... in this outrageous fish-out-of-water comedy that's "armored with plenty of laughs!" (Hollywood Report Card) A fast-talking maintenance worker (Lawrence) is in for a royally rude awakening when an unfortunate moat mishap at the Medieval World theme park transports him back in time to 14th century England. Now, armed with only his modern-day street smarts, he must deal with damsels in distress, an evil king—and really bad plumbing. The knight life has never been more hilarious! Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Outtakes/Bloopers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Bits and pieces of this one looked familiar so I think I may have seen this one a long time ago. At the very least caught part of it on cable. It is an entertaining film...I got a few laughs out of it. But at the same time I found it to be very predictable. But it is definitely worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: 3.5/5 | | | Pete |

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, Commentary: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, Commentary: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround Subtitles: Stars:Paris Hilton Joel David Moore Christine Lakin Johann Urb Adam Kulbersh The Greg Wilson Plot:Nate moves to L.A. to track down Cristabel, the woman he's been in love with since childhood, only to discover that his plan to woo her only has one hurdle to overcome: what to do with June, Cristabel's ever-present, not-so-hot best friend? What's even more complicating is Nate's growing feelings for June, whose true beauty starts to emerge. Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Featurettes Gallery My Thoughts: This is a movie that was in one of the large packages I had sent to me. I never been a fan of Paris Hilton so my expectations going in was low. But at the same time I always liked Joel David Moore on Bones. The way the movie started out I really wasn't all that impressed. It made itself depended on stupid and gross-out humor. But then somewhere midway through it changed to more of the traditional romantic comedy. That is where I started to actually get into it... finding myself starting to enjoy it. Still not a great movie but went from something I didn't think I would be able to finish watching to something I found to be worth the time I was putting into it. My Rating: 3/5 | | | Pete |

Video: Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround Subtitles: English, Spanish Stars:Brian Kerwin Charli Barcena Payton Roi List Jane Pfitsch Katherine Heigl Jennifer Lim Plot:Katherine Heigl ( Knocked Up, TV's Grey's Anatomy) lights up the screen in this charming romantic comedy from the screenwriter of The Devil Wears Prada. Heigl stars as Jane, a romantic, completely selfless woman who's been a happy, helpful bridesmaid no less than 27 times. But her own fairy-tale wedding seems to be nowhere in sight, until younger sister Tess ( Malin Akerman) captures the heart of Jane's boss ( Edward Burns)—with whom she's secretly in love—inspiring Jane to change her "always a bridesmaid" destiny. Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This film was in a box of DVDs that was recently given to me. Unfortunately it is the full screen version... but at least I am able to use it to see if I like the movie for a possible upgrade to the widescreen version. And I did like it... I liked it quite a bit. Of course that could have something to do with the fact that I am a fan of Katherine Heigl. I have enjoyed her work since she was in the TV Series Roswell. Then I also thought she was great in the series Grey's Anatomy. I would really like to see her get another TV Series. Yes... this movie is very predictable... but then what Romantic Comedy isn't? In my eyes romantic comedies isn't about the ending... but the journey leading up to it. And this one I found to be a lot of fun. I have read other reviews for this movie... and for the most part they seem to agree that this one is nothing special... bordering on boring. Well, what can I say? This isn't the first time I seemed to be the only one to enjoy something a lot. But that does tell me to be cautious in recommending it. So I would have to tell people to try catching it on cable or something. Don't buy this movie on my review alone. But I do see myself upgrading it to widescreen if I get a chance. I enjoyed this one quite a bit as well. being slightly over 2 hours it is a bit longer then I was expecting. But it worked for me. It managed to keep my interest the entire time without any boredom what so ever. I was kind of surprised to see it show 2 or 3 shots of the baby crowning in the birth scene. I would imagine those clips is what was added to the Unrated edition. I definitely found it to be worth the time to watch it... hope to upgrade to the widescreen edition before too long.
