Now, mother and daughter must once again learn to trust each other if they have any hope of surviving the relentless force shadowing Chloe. A "well-crafted thriller" (Bloody Disgusting) that's "rooted in the real world but dipping its toes into a Brothers Grimm fairy tale" (Diabolique Magazine), Don't Knock Twice is the wellspring of your next nightmare. Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Featurettes My Thoughts: This film is a bit of a mixed bag, on one hand it has some good atmosphereand some decent effects, but on the other hand there was several problems for me. First off I really didn't care about any of the characters. Plus there is a lot of dark scenes in this film that made it hard to keep up with what is going on at times. Combine that with a slow moving story and I really didn't enjoy this film as much as I was hoping to which is a shame because I did like the trailer when I saw this. But over all not a terrible way to waste an hour and a half. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Get ready for a night of zany fun in this bewitching comedy classic – now even better on Blu-ray! Extras:Scene Access Bonus Trailers My Thoughts: I watched this one with my daughter today. Her pick. I found it to be a fun... albeit silly film. But I am sure it was meant to be. After all it is a family Halloween film so it is children friendly for the most part. Through some of it I was annoyed with the main cast's over-acting. But once I got used to the idea it added to the fun. I can see adding this to my yearly Halloween viewing... though for me it is more to make fun of and laugh at. I feel comfortable recommending this one... it is worth the time put in to watch it. Newly remastered in 4K for its 30th Anniversary, Pet Sematary follows the tragic story of the Creed family. After their cat is accidentally killed, a friendly neighbor advises its bural in a mysterious nearby cemetery. When the cat comes back, it's only the beginning of an unthinkable evil leading to hell and back. Sometimes, so it seems, dead is better. Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Featurettes Gallery Digital Copy My Thoughts: This has been one of my favorites for years. I been a big fan of Stephen King for a many years... I am also a fan of Denise Crosby. It was also fun to see Fred Gwynne as well. So both the writing and the cast is a plus for me. The atmosphere here is excellent. The story line is very good. While Louis is obviously a smart man what with him being a doctor and all... this story shows time and time again he is not a very wise man. He seems to lose himself more and more as the story goes on. This is definitely a film I would recommend... well worth the time put in to watch it! My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

But I have always been for giving them a chance to see what they do with them. And this remake is one of the reasons why. They took the main story line of the original and them went in their own direction for the actual story. Giving us a completely differnt stoy. Almost as in how would this story be written in a parralel universe. In this case I definitely like the original better but feel this one is definitely worth the watch in it's own right. I think they tried to go in a darker place then the original.I think the biggest problem I had is I wasn't happy with the choice of actor for the father. On the other hand I liked John Lithgow as Jud. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

After the death of his wife, veterinarian Chase Matthews (Anthony Edwards, TV's "ER") and hsi 13-year-old son Jeff (Edward Furlong, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day") move to Ludow to rebuild their lives. Extras:Scene Access Feature Trailers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: After watching the original and the remake this one was a disappointment. I did find it to be an average flick but definitly no more then that. The stoey wasn't nearly as good and I really didn't care for any of the characters. I get the feeling when the boy brought his mother back and she held out her arms to him... he was supposed too look creepy but he really didn't pull it off I. The story line is sub-par and I barely found the ending entertaining. I wouldn't go out looking for this one. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5

Extras:My Thoughts: I wasn't all that impressed with this one. Weak story line and didn't care about the characters, It didn't even seem like that cast cared too much as they didn't seem to gived it their all.
