My Thoughts:

OK while memory did serve well in me being a bit disappointed in this movie... I do think I enjoyed it more this time around. I think partially because I knew what I was getting into so no expectations and partially because of a couple of the cast members... as there is Jared Padalecki from Supernatural in this as well as Danielle Panabaker from The Flash. Two shows I enjoy very much. I still have a problem with how they re-imaged Jason. But over all I felt it was worth the time I put in to watch it.

My Thoughts:

I never heard of this one before finding a copy in the pawn shop. I went in a little skeptical as I normally am when it comes to superheroes I never herd of before. And when I watched the trailer... this one had a bit of a feel to it that discouraged me a little. I think it was the fact that Stan Lee was a major character himself in it. While I am used to his cameos... a major character had me a bit concerned. But I must say I enjoyed it quite a bit. Of course some of the characters I liked better then others and the story line was strong. I feel comfortable recommending it.

My Thoughts:

I found this one to be a fun and entertaining film.... maybe a bit on the mindless fun side... but fun. I liked how they combined the ways of Old School and New School for a winning combination. I liked the cast... especially the two main cast members Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Probably because I can relate more to the older characters then I could the younger.

My Thoughts:

I have always heard this is a good film... thought it was about time to find out for myself. I went in a little nervous about it as this is the type of film I never enjoyed much in the past. But I must admit I enjoyed this one quite a bit. While there was some parts of the story that felt a little slow for my taste...the story itself was done well and the cast did a great job with it. While it took a bit to get me into the story once I did I was hooked and couldn't look away. This is one I feel confident about recommending.

I have been curious about this one since the first time I saw the trailer. And I must say... it didn't let me down. Great story line... loved the characters... and the cast all did a wonderful job. Now I never read the book to compare... but going in new to all the characters I really enjoyed myself. I don't know if it is meant to be... but it felt like this film could easily fit in with the Harry Potter universe. I definitely recommend this one... well worth the time put in to watch it.

And the movie is actually very suspenceful trough-out. And this blurayset offers some great extras, while worth watching! All in all a great horror flick! Check it out!

My Thoughts:

First off let me say that Westerns is not a favorite genre of mine. But I can enjoy them when I am in the right mood. This one is a very slow paced film and utilizes narration a lot. Two things I normally hate for films. But in this case I felt both worked very well. Actually I felt both was needed to do this film right. At almost 3hrs... this is a very long film... but still felt it was well worth the time put in to watch it. I definitely feel comfortable recommending this one.

My Thoughts:

Enjoyed this movie just as much this time as I did the first time I watched it. It is definitely heavier on the violence as well as some suggestive dialog. So it is not one for the kiddies... but I don't think it is to bad... I would say the teens on up would enjoy this movie. One thing I did find a little on the strange side is that you don't hear the name Wonder Woman till the end of the movie. But that is such a minor thing it doesn't matter in the least.

My Thoughts:

I haven't seen this one since it came out in the mid '80s. All I remembered was the basic story line and that I liked it. Reliving it today (30 yrs later!!!) I must say I still enjoyed it... but wasn't as good as I remembered it being. I found it to be a bit predictable and found some of the characters to be a bit "over the top"... but there is definitely worse ways to waste an hour and a half.

I must say I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I really liked the story line.... well the whole set up of Suicide Squad as I wasn't too familiar with it before this film came out. When I first heard it was being made I had my doubts. But now I see it as a must see and can easily see myself watching it again. I think there was 2 stand out cast members in this one... Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robie as Harley Quinn. Another thing I noticed is that DC taking a page out of Marvel's playbook with mid/end credit scenes leading up to the Justice League film. This one is highly recommended.

Plot:
What’s the secret to a successful marriage? According to Colorado’s leading marriage counselor Annie Morgan (Candace Cameron Bure, Full House, Make It or Break It), honesty and love are the keys to successful long-term relationships. Ironically, Annie has never been married and doesn’t always follow her own advice. When an opportunity arises to discuss hosting a relationship talk show with media mogul Alexander Bishop (Ronny Cox, St. Elsewhere, Beverly Hills Cop), Annie jumps at the chance.

Through a misunderstanding, she receives an invitation for her and her spouse to join Bishop at his New Mexico ranch. Fearful that being single will ruin her big chance, Annie conspires with Mark Crane (David James Elliott, JAG), an old college friend who is a retired professional football player and recent widower, to pose as a married couple with teenage kids for the weekend. A series of comical misunderstandings mark the weekend, leaving Annie emotionally involved with Mark and his two teenagers and battling with her own conscience.

Will she confess the truth about her marital status or the feelings she’s developing for Mark? Telling the truth may have its consequences, but ultimately it’s what opens our hearts and brings out the best in each other.

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this one. Sure... like most Rom-Coms it is a predictable film. My thoughts on that is that it is not about the outcome... it is about the journey. This film has the added bonus that I am already a fan of the two main characters. Recommended.
