We have a respected Blu Ray advocate here...one whose opinions have weight and who generally responds with reason and logic, not spin and speculation like yourself, who no one respects. Now, I want you to show everyone how I "misquoted" you or "changed people post". I would like people to pay close attention to any edit times at the bottom of his original post. Go ahead...I'm waiting. Of course, I'm not expecting anything meaningful to come from this...just more spin from bob9000. | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |

Are you not adding in the time for my typing and going to the restroom once I hit the quote button? Of course, not. An edit on a simple, short post took you 6 mins, huh? Are you saying you didn't originally post that and edited it later? | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |

| Posted: | | | | BullPucky, you are just editing my posts to fit your little theory. Its a sad attempt to deflect attention away from your ludicrous claim that Warner is intentionally titlting the field in favour of HD DVD. If they wanted HD DVD to win they could simple follow Paramount's example and go HD DVD exclusive. That would probably be end game for Blu Ray, especially at the rate Warner releases titles to HD. They have released more Blu Ray titles than Sony, Disney and Fox combined, it seems to me (not having actually counted). | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

You took another part of your original post and subbbed it for the part I actually quoted. Your cheapest tactic yet. My only edit was tweaking my wording (as I frequently do). Have you no shame at all? | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

| Posted: | | | | By the way ASC, how are those audits and cover scans coming for the many Blu Ray titles you own that have, as yet, incomplete profiles? "The Lives of others" looks like it needs a new scan, how about it? "Van Wilder" is in serious need of an audit....think you could handle it? Does "Wild Hogs" really have only 6 cast members and no crew except a director? He must have been VERY busy. You should look into that. WOW, "The Lookout" is sure missing a lot of data....but I am sure you will take care of it for the other Blu Ray owning members here. I guess animated features on Blu Ray like "Doctor Strange" have no cast or crew....doesn't seem quite right...probably needs your immediate and caring attention. "Disturbia" no crew, 4 cast members. "Are we done yet" looks to be in good shape, but seriously, you really think that it is HD worthy? Oh well...no accounting for taste. "Premonition" besides being a really bad movie (I got a free pass to see it...and felt ripped off) is seriously deficient in the castlist area. "Waiting" was pretty funny "Blood and Chocolate" really? you paid money for this? in any case, the profile is in pretty rough shape. whew! this is tedious .... It is shocking how many incomplete Blu Ray profiles there are....I wonder if HD DVD is in equally bad shape....the double handful I have purchased so far were all pretty complete. In any case I know you will attend to these and the rest of the incomplete Blu Ray profiles forthwith because it is clear you care about us, the DB and the program so very much and are not at all here simply to push your own fanboy wannabe agenda....right? | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

| Posted: | | | | bob9000, you are as bad as (or worse than) those people that were trying to spread FUD about 50GB BD not being able to play on BD players. Moving on... Let's see what effect the Paramount news has had on the Nielsen Videoscan numbers. The news came before the week ending 8/26/07 Nielsen report. August 21 Releases for HD DVD None August 21 Release for Blu-ray * Immortal Beloved (Sony) * The Lives of Others (Sony) * National Lampoon's Van Wilder (Lionsgate) * Perfect Stranger (Sony) (*Day & Date Release) Nielsen Videoscan numbers for week ending Sept. 2 going back to the first month of this year (last one on the right)... HD DVD releases for August 28 * Blades of Glory (Paramount) (*Day & Date Release) * Dawn of the Dead (2004) (Universal) * Heroes: Season One (Universal) (*Day & Date Release) * The Hurricane (2000) (Universal) * Notting Hill (Universal) Blu-ray releases for August 28None 2 popular day & date releases for HD DVD. They were outsold by "300" on Blu-ray (a month old). | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |

Explain....that is a complete non-sequitur. You are trying to attach my name to a rumour that I have never before read nor, I believe, one that anyone brought up here. More smoke and mirrors from the ASC. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

Whenever anyone challenges you you either offer a link to obviously biased info (as in the link you offered for the cost of BR 25 which was just embarassing in its one-sided glossing of the facts....did you read the talkbacks? they were more informative and factual than the article) or you insult their intelligence. Its no wonder even Blu Ray supporters want nothing to do with you. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

Where is the data to back up this claim...you don't seem to have included it. Not that I would be surprised if 'Blades' was not a big seller....not the type of movie I would deem worth the premium cost for HD. I purchased it on DVD myself. 300 is HD worthy....Heroes as well, albeit pricey (and I paid). And before you look at my collection and say "You don't think 'Blades of Glory' is HD worthy, but 'Rumour has it' is?" I should point out that I bought it at a used book/music store for $10...and I still think I paid too much...not a good film. Also found 'Lady in the Water' there for $15 which I did enjoy....except for the guy playing the "world-changing writer dude"...he was terrible. | | | Last edited: by bob9000 |

| Posted: | | | | Page after page of meaningless garbage spamming up Ken's forums. We might aswell all post 20 paragraphs of Lorem Ipsum over and over, it will carry the same amount of intelligence and be just as good a read as his endless idiotic bickering. Ken, he should just be banned and be done with it, we might get back to something resembling interesting discussion. |
