Instructions needed for getting my collection into my iPod touch.

I am not sure if this information is necessary or not....
#1 its an older iPod Touch, from ~09' or so and there is about ~7GB of ~16GB available on it.
#2 my DVD Profiler collection is on a Windows laptop.
#3 iTunes is on my main PC which is an iMac.

Id appreciate some instructions for doing this, hopefully there is enough space on it for my collection.

thanks a bunch!

Over in the desktop support forum I already told you were you can find the help section in the app that tells you how to set up sharing. Start there.

Further information can be found in Taro's guide.

You don't need iTunes to sync the database. The sync works via Wi-Fi or 3G. 7GB of free space should be enough unless you have a really big collection. If the database consumes to much space on your iPod you can reduce the size of the images.

I think he is missing that you need to go to Itunes and purchase DVD Profiler for iOS. Good Luck, I have it on my itouch and love it.

That's Pre-Release Countdown, which can be turned On/Off in the Settings menu.

I went ahead and set it to 'Huge 960x1350' and it looks way better. BTW this app and my whole collection is still only taking up .23GB of space.

BTW what does the 'Unlimited' setting in resolution set-up do?

Unlimited doesn't reduce the picture resolution at all. This only affects covers you scanned yourself because the cover images downloaded from Invelos have a fairly low resolution anyway.

I have another question and rather then start a new thread I figured I try asking it here first.

On the 'Update Database' page under 'Options' what does 'Send Changes' do? Its default position is 'OFF' ?

thanks

'Send Changes' does exactly that, send any changes made to the collection on the iPod, to the collection on the PC.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.

If you made changes to the database on your iOS device "Send Changes" should be "On" by default. If you didn't make changes it should be locked in the "Off" position.
