| Posted: | | | | Hi. I'm hoping someone knows how to help me.
I just upgraded my existing version 3.x unregistered to 3.5. Now it won't let me update any profiles; it says since I have more than 50 profiles, I need to have a registration key. I think the last time I upgraded I was able to choose to have less features but I was still able to update profiles.
Has Invelos changed their policy with 3.5 or is this a bug? I tried reinstalling the pgm but that didn't work.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | The limitation to 50 profiles has been in existence since version 3.0 and is as intended - it's not a bug. You can read more here. Personally I consider the $30 I spent on this programme as perhaps my best investment ever. I don't know how long you've been trying out the programme, but I would recommend to seriously try it out within the trial limitations to find out if you're willing to make the same investment. |

| Posted: | | | | Perhaps I wasn't clear: prior to version 3.5 the unregistered versions always allowed you to download profiles -- now this doesn't seem to be the case? I don't think anything in that comparison chart indicates that this is so? |

| Posted: | | | | Hmmm, I didn't think so too, but I agree, the chart doesn't say that. Only thing you cannot do is to "Add DVDs to your wishlist graphically with the "Upcoming Releases" tab". Adding DVDs in regular fashion shoulkd be possible... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | as far as I am aware, you can add more than 50 profiles but the only change is that you are restricted in the features.
There hasn't been any change in this policy.
Try doing a database repair. | | | Paul |

Any help is appreciated. Thanks. What are you doing in DVD profiler when you get the message? There is a message in 3.5 when you are adding a DVD (corresponding to the mini preview window) but you can still add DVDs, the additional message is just annoying. -Gerri | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Is there a plan to remove this annoying message? |

| Posted: | | | | The message is not supposed to be popping up and will be removed in 3.5.1. It was an unintentional byproduct of an enhancement to the Add DVDs window. As indicated, it does not prevent additions to your collection but is rather annoying and will be removed. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

Where else would they get the best DVD database product for the price of a DVD or 2. Steve |
