Quote: I'm having the same issue on both the desktop and iOS app versions of DVD Profiler. New, approved releases are not showing up in the database. I recently added information for a new release (The Man I Love) that was already approved and released by others, but it did not show up when I searched for it. I now have three other fairly recent (but not brand new) titles not showing up: The Country Girl, The Rose Tattoo, and Come Back, Little Sheeba. None of them show up when I search the database, and I'm pretty sure those Kino Lorber titles would have been added by now. Thoughts? Quote: Can you tell me what you were doing when it happened? Can you reproduce the error? It happens at the end of searching for the results of 'David J. Schwartz', just after the actual results are shown. And the popup comes up every time I click on the 'Apply' filters button, regardless of checking/unchecking role boxes.
Edit: Cleared the results, logged out, logged in, searched for 'Nancy Loomis', and the same thing happens.
Quote: Edit: You say this started recently. Can you think of anything that changed before the errors started to pop up? I have a suspicion as to where the error could happen, but not why. I may have to add some better error checking there. I can't think of anything that changed on my computer, sorry. No big changes like a complete Windows reinstall or anything like that! | Posted: Topic Replies: 69, Topic Views: 13007 |

Hi Gunnar,
The TurboCLT plugin is still awesome - I use it very often. However, lately I get an error message 'Index was outside the bounds of the array'. Is that something you can fix, or do I have to change a setting somewhere?

Either hold CTRL and start the program (you'll get a popup where you can reset the online profile list), or start the program and then hold CTRL and select menu Online --> Refresh Online Profile List. | Posted: Topic Replies: 11, Topic Views: 6715 |

Quote: I think I found another birth year we need.
Charlie Murphy. Eddie Murphy's brother, born in 1959, died 2017. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Murphy http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0614151/
The others are an actor that played an Old Man in American Graffiti.
The other is an actress that has recently appeared in several tv series.
The birth year of the actress from '71, The Last Kingdom, Peaky Blinders, Happy Valley. etc. is 1988 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Murphy_(actress) https://www.themoviedb.org/person/1356630-charlie-murphy https://medium.com/@biographypoints/charlie-murphy-actress-c774461abf6f (Tried to contribute on April 20, but I get an error screen - Will try to contribute later). | Posted: Topic Replies: 5786, Topic Views: 385469 |

Something is definitely wrong. Check the workarounds from greyghost and GSyren. | Posted: Topic Replies: 30, Topic Views: 10669 |

Quote: Look for episode dividers or the word "episode"? I considered that, but there are plenty of anthology movies that contain episodes. Amicus released a bunch of such films back in the day, such as Vault of Horror, Tales from the Crypt and others. And there many other examples. In cases like this, my approach is to knock off as many exceptions as possible and forget the rest. Not to sacrifice the large majority of correct hits trying to make it perfect. Of course, we each have our own ways of doing things. Just my 2 cents. I like that approach too. My suggestion would be to start with titles that have the word "Disc" in them, and see where it goes. | Posted: Topic Replies: 69, Topic Views: 13007 |

Gunnar,
Is it possible to add a settings option that filters out disc profiles for TV series? | Posted: Topic Replies: 69, Topic Views: 13007 |

It starts with the loginscreen, where your login name appears in the dropdown (luckily no password was stored! )
Then these searches appear, when I click on the search bar. I've never searched for Alan (or Allan) Smithee, as far as I know.
When I go to the credit lookup search in my regular browser, there are no searches stored.

Hi Gunnar,
Looks like I get this error message whenever a minus character is in the name, like "Lee Cheol-min" or "Sook-yin Lee". Can you look into this?
